cptheslayer 2 #29 Posted August 6, 2006 not many players are patient enough to study dragon. I agree that Dragon is a very strong clan, perhaps the strongest. Dragon BG's are so powerful that they are hard to be used in a combo. It requires good skills and fast fingers to do a very powerful combo. However, mug can be a problem for Dragon. But still Dragon does not need many BG's to defeat serpent; it just needs time to build up. It does not need a spirit to win either. A serpent smoke abuser might beat a dragon, but a good dragon will not lose to smoke abuse. Horses can kill those smokers fast. I have seen more and more serpent players use too much smoke but i do not say that they should not do that. It is ok to do it. smoke is not unstopable, why do pple complain too much? It is much ezier to counter mass smoke than mass snipers. About dragon v lotus, Dragon can still win if you have a program that command every units to ues their BG properly. Bax, chi shield is very fun to play. Try mass chi shield against sc warlocks. Get some sac geisha behind. Get 1-2 stardust, and send thoes dwarriors to fight. Now here comes your luck, if sc is activated b4 y activate your chi, then i guess you are dead. If sc failed on you, then stardust and attack. Then send in a sac geisha to heal all. Later when most of your units lose much life, send in another geisha. Lotus tower can be a problem for you dwarriors to chase warlocks. So if fight in lotus base, pretty much dragon is dead. Sam takes so little damage from sc. i would say some sam with iron skin is good. My best strat to kill a lotus is to build up a few stun and stardust and some dwarriors and archers also a few healers. This will work if any first time lotus meet dragon where there are no towers nearby. My only problem beating lotus is the tower. Now I can just make fire archers or chemist but blades can own these units. Blades is very good against dragon. Blades can own any dragon units except kabuki and sam and spear. If a dragon tries to rush a lotus, some blades can be good while getting dc. Dragon has to get fire and healers. By this time lotus can get dc already. Perhaps, a lotus can rush a dragon to death. Dragon's weakness is both magic and explosive. Most units are weak against explosive and magic. I still believe that iron skin sams can kill lotus, but i don't know yet how to use them. I am still working on it. Why don't pple use ronins? why don't they use stun slam, paralyzed darts, stun spears? These BG's can be great use for your ally. I like to play wolf along a lotus against serpent because druids will trap vetkin and the i use zen punch to kill that vetkin. Now back on topic, I have not really studied building structures even though i know it provides better training and defense. I just love to play and dont got much time to play; why would i spent my limited time to study these? Better spent playing and having fun winning and losing. Lotus, especially massing SC, it's freaky, but I can still handle some. Most of the time I lost to mass SC. But aboiut dragon's long game. I can Win. So I can't destroy their monuments, so what I did is put mines on the middle of the map and stand there.. I started to do 1-hit-kill snipers. His/her units will be killed slowy by some of my snipers.
