well.... leaders must be the strongest because the lower units might grab his place, be envious about and that will create chaos and debates that will decrease the clan's power either political or economical....

Leaders serve also as a role model for future generation....

Lord Koril is older than Lord Zymeth... they hold equal power, but Lord Koril prefers to use it less. Lord Soban is very well known, Lady Yvaine is the only Lady in power so that makes her invaluable, and Lord Soban prefers to stay out of political affairs.
