There was a guy yesterday initiating votekick and vote mute on the top players of the other team. Mana, would this be a possibility to have a vote mute and vote immunity option as an additional donation option?

The problem with incompetence regardless of what it is, is that most people are unaware of it. When you go from incompetence to mastery, there are 4 basic levels.

[unconscious incompetence] --> [conscious incompetence] --> [conscious competence] --> [unconscious competence]

1. The first is you are incompetent, and you are completely oblivious of it. Have you ever met someone who's stupid and they totally didn't know they were stupid? You tell them about it and they don't believe you? You cant fix a problem if you don't know it exists.

2. The second one is you finally realize you have an incompetence, you start seeing your flaws, and you start to see how better people are doing differently. This is a huge step forward since now you are actively getting better.

3. The third is conscious competence. You now are good at something, but you still have to put a lot of focus at it. Its not second nature yet.

4. Lastly, unconscious competence. You have gotten so good, you don't even need to try or think, you just do it. Its like driving a car, you don't have to think about it.

These newbs in TF2 are so dumb, they cant get to stage 2 by themselves. Even after me being a drill sergeant, they still cant seem to make the transition. Every word coming out of my mouth is like gold, yet they are too stupid to comprehend.

Votemute and/or votekick should only be used in situations where a person:

1. is mic-spamming completely irrelevant chatter
   
2. blatantly and repeatedly insulting other players
   
3. attempts to kick people simply because that person kills him
   
4. attempts to kick people simply because that person annoys him
   
5. continually initiates his own kick/mute votes regardless of outcome
   
6. has a history of similar abuses
   

Seems to me like you tend to nail all 6 of those.

What's more, it doesn't matter if someone uses the votemute/votekick. If there is no reason for that person to be kicked or muted, the vote will either not get initiated due to having fewer than 5 people or it will not pass due to not receiving the required threshold of votes.

Of course, if I recall correctly, you managed to get 85% of a server to votekick you. That comes out to about 3 or 4 people (in addition to your own vote) supporting you on a 32 person server. Not a really solid footing to protest on. I would contend that a vote that achieves near-universal consensus does not indicate "abuse" but rather should be viewed as heroic.

1. Everything I say is related to the game. I'm number one on my team for a reason. I would like to think im good enough to not try and just chat and be the highest scorer but I dont think Im that good yet. (for the exception I say your wife is ugly once in a while.

That's funny since it was reviewed (right there on the front cover) by one of the top AI minds in the game biz. Also, considering that most of the top AI folks are reading it as we speak (it was only released in mid-March), and I'm getting all sorts of private comments about the book from the likes of the people who developed most of the AAA games of the past 10 years... yeah... I'm really concerned with what you (pretend to) say about it.
