+Henry Spencer 117 #3 Posted July 27, 2009 Pepsi tastes like sugar. Coke tastes like... something. I don't know what, but it's still better than Pepsi.
Spartan_0214 18 #4 Posted July 27, 2009 Wait. You have a problem with Pepsi tasting like sugar and would prefer something that tastes like some unidentifiable object?

Link2086 5 #6 Posted July 28, 2009 This thread is now about soda. I don't really care whether I drink Pepsi or Coke. They both taste different but I like both of them. I usually drink diet just because I'd rather not drink all of that sugar (lawl, artificial sweeteners, I know) and I'm used to it now. Diet Sierra Mist is good, though. Or Sprite. +Henry Spencer 117 #7 Posted July 28, 2009 Wait. You have a problem with Pepsi tasting like sugar and would prefer something that tastes like some unidentifiable object? Yes. I like to believe I'm drinking more than sugar, carbonated water, and phosphoric acid.
Link2086 5 #8 Posted July 28, 2009 Yes. I like to believe I'm drinking more than sugar, carbonated water, and phosphoric acid. So you'd like to be lied to, then.
+Henry Spencer 117 #9 Posted July 28, 2009 I guess maybe I should've put a /sarcasm in that post?
Graedus 9 #10 Posted July 28, 2009 (edited) I don't drink soda no more. But for the record... Coke < Pepsi < Dr Pepper < Cherry Coke Also, European Coke tastes a lot better. Edited July 28, 2009 by Graedus
Oww My Nose 19 #11 Posted July 28, 2009 I don't drink soda no more. But for the record... Cherry Coke < Dog Piss < Coke < Pepsi < Dr Pepper Also, European Coke tastes a lot better. fixed
Graedus 9 #12 Posted July 28, 2009 (edited) Why is that that whenever someone disagrees with a soda favorite tue7 always quickly turn to dog piss? Why are so many people drinking dog piss in order to use the experience to make their points? Isn't there a better way? Also, tangent: Edited July 28, 2009 by Graedus
Spartan_0214 18 #13 Posted July 28, 2009 Change is good. What's your point?
+Henry Spencer 117 #14 Posted July 28, 2009 My tier list goes Vanilla Coke > Coke > Pepsi > Cherry Coke > Sprite/Sierra Mist > 7-Up > Diet Varieties > Cherry Pepsi. For some reason, I just can't stand Cherry Pepsi. Vanilla Coke is godlike.
Graedus 9 #15 Posted July 29, 2009 Change is good. What's your point? None. Just seemed appropriate and I thought it was interesting. Although I'm not a fan of the new "eye" Pepsi logo.
Mana 3,867 #16 Posted July 29, 2009 Also, European Coke tastes a lot better. Fuck... When I came to the US and tasted Coke I thought it was a bad batch that had some cough syrup mixed into it or some other kind of medicine... Took me a while to get used to this shitty taste here. You guys have no idea...
Graedus 9 #17 Posted July 29, 2009 I wonder what the real difference is between the two though. Is it as simple as sugar vs corn syrup? Something else? Whatever. One of the reasons I don't drink soda much anymore, I got spoiled in Italy.
friedrice 8 #18 Posted July 29, 2009 For me it depends on the mood. I usually prefer Cherry Pepsi over Cherry Coke, but for some odd reason Coke fountain drinks taste better than Pepsi. However, the end all argument is that Coke tastes much much MUCH better with rum than Pepsi. Rum and Pepsi is just straight nasty

Rum and Pepsi is just straight nasty the same holds true for slurpees. just thought i'd add that in there, since my city is the slurpee capital of the world, 10 years running (even though our winters get down to about -60ºF)

h3gi 5 #21 Posted July 30, 2009 You should see the variation in the ingredients of Orange Fanta across countries. http://www.cogulus.com/fanta/ I'm sure it's similar in other soft drinks, though it may not be to that extent.
