Melissia 7 #11 Posted November 27, 2009 The turkey was okay this year. Better than last year anyway, not dry. It's still turkey though, and therefor sub-par.

Rigormortis 15 #18 Posted December 1, 2009 Pasta is fail. Im italian, I'd know. The only good thing about pasta is you can put shrimps and chickens in it to make it less boring. But let's be honest, Id rather eat around the pasta to get the shrimp.
Super Sean 1 #19 Posted December 1, 2009 Fettucini alfredo tastes awesome! Just saying that. Also, pasta isn't supposed to taste great, it's more of a medium for food. It's not like you just eat seaweed on a sushi roll.
Spartan_0214 18 #20 Posted December 1, 2009 Pasta's good for carbs, that's it. And as for Fettuccine Alfredo, that is pretty good, but soooo much better with grilled chicken on top.
Captain Planet 28 #21 Posted December 1, 2009 I really don't understand why you are all complaining about somee type of food being boring. Anything can be boring when it's by itself. Of course you add different foods together to form a masterpiece. Hell, you can say a cheese pizza is boring, but the addition of all the toppings makes it worth your while (supreme FTW). Sure, pasta by itself may get a bit bland, but if you want exciting pasta, then make your pasta exciting. Or, if you can't take it as the main dish, make it a side dish. On the original topic: I enjoy Turkey Day because of all the side dishes that get made, not the actual Turkey. While I have no problem with dark meat Turkey, the light meat turkey is WAAAAAAY too dry. But stuffing, green bean casserole, cheesy mashed potatoes? I'm all over that. THEN YOU AIN'T COOKIN' IT RIGHT NUKKA. I kept my 16 pound Turkey Perfect as far as moisture. Balsamic vinegar. Locks in the moisture put it on before you put the oil on and some butter around the pan, baste every hour or 45 minutes, depending on the cooking time and you're GOOD TO GO! (b'.')b Also. Pasta is nommy, just throw some italian dressing on that shiz and eat it in the car on the way to class/work.
