Battle Realms Res

The maximum resolution for Battle Realms is 1024 by 768. However, I have discovered that it is possible to change this via the Liquid Folder. I changed it to 1280 by 1024 and it makes the game considerably clearer and nicer to look at.

Here's how:

Go to: Start Menu > My Computer > Program Files > Liquid Entertainment > Battle_Realms (config settings).

It should look something like this:

LanguageString=ENG

Width=1024

Height=768

Depth=16

Fullscreen=1

HardwareTL=0

[sound]

Enabled=1

NumSFXChannels=16

SoundTimerPeriod=40

SoundTimerResolution=5

MapSoundsEnabled=1

Where it says Width=1024 change it to 1280, and the Depth to 1024.

Also you can try changing the Depth (of colour) to 32 but i'm not sure if it works.

I tryed other settings but it didn't seem to have any effect, but you can try.

Note: It would be wise to make a backup copy of the config settings incase you mess up or change your mind.

It's about changing the video settings of BR manually instead of from the main menu.

I tried changing that setting, no change in game. Looked like it was still 1024 by 780..
