Marcel the Shell 403 #31 Posted December 11, 2012 G700; I use it wireless. It is nice and heavy with not-too-many buttons. Just upgraded b4 the weekend been working it in. Going to take a little while to get used to the change, but when I do I think I am going to really enjoy this one. Nice, Dutchkev I have definitely have noticed lots of potential with the upgrade
-Tristan- 948 #32 Posted December 11, 2012 I wonder what everyone uses all their spare buttons for. M1 for me is switch to Rlauncher/fire; M2 is switch to secondary/fire, M5 is whip/pickaxe. The rest are voice coms and a spare crouch key for rocket jumping.

- Mike - 2,728 #34 Posted December 11, 2012 Voicecommands M4 - c 5 (mostly for engy's "Well don't that beat all." line) M5 - I switch it up between a positive/jeer/good shot.
Harlequin 2,975 #35 Posted December 11, 2012 U dont wanna know what I have my buttons for... This is my mouse. and that's why I ikeyou =) srsly, when I was in the store first, and had to decide between naga epic + hex, I just wanted the epic cuz more buttons + awezomerainbowz but as I said, it got broke after 8 days, and then was sold out. Now I've got the Hex I just love it. and yes, the green is epic anyway. but the 6 side buttones are just perfect to reach and don't requre a month to learn for musclememory... even I was good at it because of my prior naga. but 12 buttons are way too much for a shooter; it was good for mmorpgs, yes..but that's where the story end. so end of story. Possum 10,776 #36 Posted December 11, 2012 Is it just me or do most people have a Razer + Logitech combo? Mine's a Razer/Corsair pair. I wonder what everyone uses all their spare buttons for. M1 for me is switch to Rlauncher/fire; M2 is switch to secondary/fire, M5 is whip/pickaxe. The rest are voice coms and a spare crouch key for rocket jumping. I have my M4 set to my melee weapon, for quick switching (flamethrower to axtinguisher for example). My M5 isn't bound in TF2, normally its set to throw grenade if there is one.... Ljubica Zubica 12 #38 Posted December 16, 2012 Was hoping to hear about Roccat Kone+, but looks like noone is using it x) I´m using g400, wire survived 2 weeks then I had to change it. All in all mouse sucks big time. Also have Abyssus that collects dust because it´s to small for me. Keyboard is some noname... couldn´t care less about it as long as I can see letters on it :s

+Dr. Obvious 14,606 #41 Posted December 16, 2012 So Ljubica, no dasKeyboard for you? It's a nice one. The keys are well balanced. There's a higher-priced version of this (yeah, MORE expensive), where you can even adjust the force you need to press down the button... Mine already looks like this, after a few months of use... - Mike - 2,728 #42 Posted December 16, 2012 I´m using g400, wire survived 2 weeks then I had to change it. All in all mouse sucks big time. I chuckled. It can't be too bad if about a dozen or so top levels players use it.
Ljubica Zubica 12 #43 Posted December 17, 2012 I chuckled. It can't be too bad if about a dozen or so top levels players use it. g400 or g500? Asjo 90 #44 Posted December 17, 2012 Well, I'm sure differently people require different mice. However, one I think would be a great fit for many is the corded MS Basic mouse. It doesn't have all those annoying buttons, it has a nice fit for most hands and otherwise works without issue. I've been the happy owner of a MS Basic mouse for years, and I've yet to run into any shortcomings.

Possum 10,776 #49 Posted December 20, 2012 Do I spot some alienware? Headsets, I used to use a Corsair HS1, which was lovely until the mic stopped working. Corsair RMA'd it, but they don't make the HS1 any.more, so replaced it with a Vengeance 1500, which is equally good.
