Orbit - dBs 179 #1 Posted April 15, 2013 (edited) I made a guide to 2Fort, hope you guys like it. it is somewhat new there may be errors around. I would appreciate help with anything that I have missed within the guide. Updated, thanks to Dextocity with helping me in the What is in 2Fort section. To-Do List: 1. Revise Class Strategy List 2. Organize the thread. Table of Contents The Basics What is In 2Fort Health and Ammo Location Strategy Classes and Strategy The Basics 2Fort is a Capture the Flag map, it is verypopular among many TF2 players. This map is recommended for people who can bepatient and are willing to strike at the right time and people who havepatience since long stalemates may occur after a few captures. What 2Fort is The Blu and Red teams on 2Fort have mirrorsides, Blu side is more modern while Red side is more southern with barns, wooden buildings and such. And there are many entrances/exits to use to anadvantage "Red base is where fun is and >>hats<< looks much more nicer!" -LjubicaZubica What is in 2Fort "To get into the Enemies Fort, there are 4 posible ways: - The first way is through the sewers. You can reach the sewers by a stairway in your own base. To get there fast, you can eitherleave the Mainspawn and head right forward, dropping down through thehole in the apearing grate, run back into your base and at the corner, just turn left orIf you´re spawning in the secondary spawn, just run straight forwardand drop down the hole, turn right and right again and you will rundirektly into the sewers. Another way is to drop down into the lake in front of your fort. - The Second Way is to cross the Brigde in front of your fort. If you leave your mainspawn, turn left and you´re heading the right way. Spawning at the secondary spawn, take the right way and you will head right to the Bridge. - The Third Way is by passing the Bridge over Roof. From the Spawns, follow the Path described above. Than try double jumping on it from the balcony with the scout or performing a rocket/bombjump with either the Soldier or the Demo. - The fourth way is by Rocket/Bomb jumping directly from your own to the Enemy balcony." Health and Ammo 2Fort has limited ammo and health kits. In the beginning ofthe spiral there will be a small health pack and ammo pack. In the room thatthe sewer leads to there will be a 50% health pack and 50% ammo pack. In theentrance of the intelligence there will be a 50% health and 50% ammo pack.Since there aren’t many health/ammo packs, make use of dropped weapons andnearby dispensers to keep you stocked on health/ammo. Strategy The goal of 2Fort is to capture the enemies intelligence 3times. Here are the strategies for each class. Scout Scouts are fairly limited in 2fort; it is achoke-point heavy map that mostly takes place indoors and a single sentry canblock all access to the intelligence. Unlike in more open maps, the scout iscountered by nearly every class in the game on 2fort. The main loadout that Iwould recommend is any scattergun, bonk atomic punch, and the sandman. Soldier The Soldier class is very effective on 2fort, his ability to rocket jump makes him a viable choice to take out pesky snipers onthe battlements. With close corridors, the soldier may encounter battles inclose quarters, which makes him very useful with his rocket launcher. But adownside that he has to be careful on where he fires his rockets as the splashdamage may damage himself also. Pyro The Pyro has its advantages and its disadvantages on2Fort. The pyro is not very useful in the lake or sewer due to not being ableto use his flamethrower in the lake, but can make up for that with his shotgun.Because of tight rooms and close corridors, the Pyro is able to ambush enemieseffectively and attempt to damage enemies long range with his flare gun. Demoman The demoman has very little disadvantages on 2Fortexcept for the fact that he does not fare well in 1v1 combat or fights in closecorridors. He is able to cover the enemy battlements/spawn for a limited time effectivelywith his grenade launcher and stickybomb launcher. He is adept at defending theintel as he can sticky trap it. Heavy Again, with close corridors, the Heavy is able todish out heavy damage against a group of enemies that aren’t paying attention. He can be a tank for the team while the scout or medic goes and secretly takesthe intel. Enginner The engineer has many uses on 2Fort, from being anoffense engie or turtle engie and defending the intel room like no tomorrow. Heis the backbone of the team when the enemy decides to have a giant push. Medic Like any other map the medic is able to heal his teammatesand keep the in battle for a sustained amount of time with his medi-gun. Withhis 106% movement speed, he is able to take the intel with ease along with thescout. Sniper The sniper does best behind the front entrances oron the battlements where he has a high ground to snipe enemies. A disadvantagewould be that he is susceptible prey to demomen or soldiers. Grenade launcher lack of aim? Well I don't really play demoman so I don't know what you mean, but this guide is from my experience but I am open to suggestions to the guide

The main spawn, once you leave, if you turn left you will be ledto your left battlements. If you go straight you will be lead to a grate, onceyou drop down you will be in the middle of your front doors and the hay-room.Behind you is a short hall leading into a long hall(more will be explained oncethe secondary spawn comes into play) The sewers lead to a room, if you keepfollow the path, you will be led to a lake and will be under the bridge. Thefront entrances have two doors one on the left and right, which will both leadto the bridge. Below your main spawn will be a sink-room. For the secondaryspawn you have two means of exits, if you drop down on the land you will be inthe intersection of your long hallway and short hallway. If you take the rightpath you will be led to your right battlements. Orbit - dBs 179 #8 Posted April 16, 2013 There should also be this... Dealing with Se7en on 2Fort Your best bet is to be on his team, if you are not it is best to bow down in front of him requesting mercy with a few pounds of cocaine in one hand and booze in the other.

Yeah. As if. Just put Ljubica in the other team, they cancel each other out.
Irradicator 118 #10 Posted April 16, 2013 Yeah. As if. Just put Ljubica in the other team, they cancel each other out. Ahh but then you have to take the Pugo auto-balance effect into account, you see once Pugo joins the server, despite having picked the team he wants, he will automatically be put onto the opposing team as the only Lotus member or recruit in that team, thus Ljubica and 7 will always be in the same team once I am around.......
