New year resolutions or whatever you call them, I call them uudenvuodenlupaus, how ya like that.

ALL DISCUSSION RELATED TO NEW YEARS IS WELCOME

Everyone's welcome, as always.

 

To start with, WHY DID YOU SPOILER THIS-Well because nobody cares okay. (Well obviously you do, if you're seriously going to read this wall of text. Or boredom.

I am a person known for my sleeping patterns. Or actually for the lack of one. I Stay up nights on business days, I wake up 2am, I go to sleep 4pm, shit like that.

Well what is this kind of person going to do on New Years? The one holiday in a year, where even 2 year old kids are allowed to stay up. He/She has to do something CRAZY, something unpredictable! People ask me this question, How late do I stay up on new years? Well actually, Last year I vent to bed 8pm, woke up 10 am the next year, and celebrated new years with the americans. While everyone else's hungover and half-dead, I've just slept a shitton and I'm powered up!

Currently as I'm writing this thread, it is 8am in Finland on the 31th of December, and I have no plans of going to bed. Yet. I'll hit the bunk 8pm just like last year.

I don't like fireworks anyways, they just fly up into the sky and blow up, whoopdifukinloop, amazing. I much prefer the hunting season.

Might sound like I hate it, not at all. I just don't get the hype for it.

 

TL;DR: There is no shorter version, if you don't care, don't read at all; just dump your stories

My New Years tradition, play games on my computer.

What I will be doing next year, play games on my computer. 

 

Some people just have to over complicate the whole thing and go on a diet that lasts them until January 2nd. I prefer keeping things that aren't broken the same. 

 

For a New Years story(not really at New Years) I was at the mall the other day and this woman started talking loudly saying how she hopes this New Years is better than 2013. She claimed that 2013 was a bad year for everyone since a lot of famous people died. In my mind I was like, "you do realize people die everyday? But when an actor or actress dies, that makes it a bad year?"

Only one I can think of is Mandela and a couple others that were significant. Also another story is that on the news the other day, they were making 2014 into a bad year, Saying that all the uprisings from 2012 and 2013 that have happened or countries that are causing a lot of attention(Iran/Russia), might cause global wars and catastrophe. At least the media is doing what they do best XD
