ChaoticSlink 2 #1 Posted August 4, 2014 (edited) Welcome to my art shop! Yes, I sell art, art as in posters for TF2 (wallpapers, profile pictures, scenes, that sort of stuff). These posters will take time to make, so no rushing me about it. Of course... They're not free (since its a shop), pricing goes as so... 1 Character = 1 ref (the more characters the more ref) 1 key for multiples of 7, so 7 characters is 1 key, 14 is 2, in between is adding on 1 ref to that key. I also accept items, but it should be with slight overpay. (Price raises after every 10 customers by small amounts, just fore warning to get them cheaper while you can) You pay after you have your product. Paying more than I ask for is fine as well, these are just minimums/guides. Orders should be in a layout... -Characters loadouts (and any effects such as unusuals or killstreaker eyes, sheens dont work) -Poses -Weapons (optional) -Map -Text (with font and colour, provide link please) -Other things like a border or blur effect, black and white maybe, that sort of thing. Patrick's threads were put together and he was then kicked out of lotus due to people complaining that in his total time in lotus he had only posted 7 threads, 1 of his application and 3 about his sfm poster business. fever 9,884 #13 Posted August 5, 2014 I think letting people know about your talent is fair enough, its the blatant hard sell advertising or anything which directly is in competition with Lotus itself as a clan which is a problem. Good luck, I'm sure you will get some interest. When I get around to deciding what I want I'll go to Alex and give him something for his time. Plus competition buffs both sides because they need to top each-other, why would competition be a problem? And thanks, I understand, I'm probably going to get around to offering hand drawn stuff, since I also doodle a bit, and that's something that most don't offer... Large images make them look meh... You're not in direct competition, don't worry. In the past though for example we have had people advertise tournaments around the time we were organising one...the point I am making is that the owner has put 10 years of his own time, effort and cash into Lotus so you can understand why he doesn't want people siphoning off people to other sites/communities....especially if you can get whats being offered "in house". I understand since my communities head's have also put lots of effort into the community I call home, I'm not using communities for profit, just spreading out, especially since I enjoy making these, I'd like to make more art for more people. I'll try not to cause any problems (and hopefully nobody will attack me for anything). Edit: Now I'd prefer if this thread would stick to what its meant for, and not stray off onto other things...
