So since highlander season is approaching like a fat chick spotting a 50% off McDonalds sale, it's time to start practicing!  

 

This thread will contain all of the information needed for our 9 members and subs - though if anyone else is interested in how the team is doing, I'll be posting match information, including maps and scores here.

The first two are usual practice times, so I expect people to be there. I know the third one isn't our usual day, but since we hadn't have any practice yet it would be good to play it. Please let me know as fast as possible if you can make that.

No disrespect to Emma of course...but you shouldn't let the silly thoughts in your head stop you from playing a part in the team...I think we have already established it's a pretty informal team for fun. Those who take comp seriously have their other teams too. Just enjoy it for what it is Domino

I've said I'll play Monday as its short notice if you can't replace me or find a sub. I'm content to be left on the roster and sub sometimes but I'd rather remove a bunch of pressure from my life right now. Sorry guys

I see no reason to why one would object to that. At this moment, there are just not enough Lotus people interested in contributing to this Highlander team. Levictus were bound to start using non-Lotus players sooner or later if long term is what you desire.

When I'm not losing the fucking plot I can play. Yesterday I ate and then lay in the bath crying. I know I known life is full of fun!! I wouldn't hold out your hopes for this season. Next season i hope to be not off my rocker and we can actually get organised and play scrims.

As far as organisation is going. I am stepping up for officials. (to some extent)

 

I have made tags for people as follows;

"Levictus Highlander" - the players.

and "Levictus Subs" - self explanatory.

I wish to add people to these so contact/add me to be placed on it and make my life easier.

 

Someone else can sort out servers and stuff, but I will make visits to those online 30-45 minutes before the official to ask if they can play and to get ready in mumble ready for when the game SHOULD be starting.

 

If they aren't available, I will contact subs and then contact the leader (afaik Death_D) about mercs and such.

 

I would like to be given or pointed in the right direction to an updated list of subs and players if that can be arranged. Purely so I can add people to the tags.

 

I'm mostly doing this so we can at least sort some of our shit out. I don't want a repeat of yesterday again or I'll be too annoyed to want to play on the team. Nothing like some motivation to get you doing stuff.

Team captains, please do fill in the 'Availability (Matches)' sheet for PCWs/Officials, this means that you as a team should check the spreadsheet regularly for upcoming matches, and to fill in your availability for matches too, especially if you are unable to play that day.

If anyone wants to practice anything like evading pills, practicing lobbies as combo, etc ask me anytime. I can also share my experience of what happened on maps last season. This wouldn't really be a "strats guide" or "what to do" but more of an explanation of how our match unfolded on a map last season. It won't be anything very advanced at all but it would be better than what we have now which is nothing.
