{Dark}KaBuKI 2 #1 Posted May 1, 2006 i cant seem to find what is taos Weakness? does anyone now?
Dragonsoul 3 #2 Posted May 1, 2006 Tao has average armor against everything except piercing. He has minimum armor to piercing. No really a big weakness. He IS suppose to be some kind of balance person.
IndominusRex 13 #3 Posted May 1, 2006 Hehehe.. What is the battle gear of Tao? I dont use tao when I'm dragon.. I just use Arah and the fat guy..
[LOT]rundown 3 #4 Posted May 1, 2006 He's got some sort of move that inflicts part of the damage attacked onto him back to the opponent, it's good if your fighting melee units.
{Dark}KaBuKI 2 #5 Posted May 1, 2006 for me tao can be sometimes more usefull than arah and other zen master because u can u used it to destroy mines if your enemy has and he will not even get hurt he just so good and strong i love the way tao is just a amazing hero........ Dragonsoul 3 #6 Posted May 2, 2006 I like Tao mainly because of his character concept.
Guest Aramid #7 Posted May 2, 2006 Tao is the master of balance. He takes minimum damage to piercing. I dont use Tao because I dont like his battlegear very much, the "Reversal of fortune" kind-a-thing. His attack are sometimes powerful and stays in battle longer than some heroes. cptheslayer 2 #8 Posted May 2, 2006 talking about Tao, Tao is very useful in melee, especailly when fighting any units that have blunt weakness. I use Tao to summon 6 monks when i fight cannons and berserkers. Never lose a battle with Tao and monks against Cannons and berserkers. Interestingly enough, Tao's ability is Leaf's innate ability. Dragonsoul 3 #9 Posted May 2, 2006 lol, not exactly, Everytime a melee unit hit Tao will get damage back, while leaf's circle will damage units in melee range around it continuosly, no matter if they attack leaf or not, or that's what I thought........... IndominusRex 13 #10 Posted May 5, 2006 tao is nice, I just used him.. He helps me to win my first dragon against serpent game in 1v1 in freedom. That serpent is very very good.. and it just my first time playing dragon against serpent in 1v1.. I used to play dragon against lotus in 1v1 only. Guest Aramid #11 Posted May 5, 2006 Why does tao has no innate ability than other heroes or units?
Dragonsoul 3 #12 Posted May 5, 2006 He does. His innate allow Dragon to summon 6 monks instead of 4.
Guest Aramid #13 Posted May 5, 2006 Ok... I almost forgot that... I rarely use him. Monks is a waste of yang thats why i dont summon monks. I earn yangs to increase the damage of my heroes or upgrade unit abilities. Monks easily die sometimes... Tao is somewhat average...
IndominusRex 13 #14 Posted May 5, 2006 is that mean that if you dont summon tao, you will get only 4 monks?
Izaak 3 #15 Posted May 5, 2006 Yes. You get the ability to summon an extra two if you have Tao. If you lose him, you won't lose your monks, but you'll only get to resummon four again. Newbies tend to ignore Tao for more flashier units like Garrin. The fat guy Kazan sucks compared to Teppo. -Izaak, Lord of the Lotus Clan.
IndominusRex 13 #16 Posted May 5, 2006 Hehe.. I never know it.. hey Izaak, make your signature as "-Izaak, Lord of the Lotus Clan. " dont just copy and paste it for each of your post..
Izaak 3 #17 Posted May 5, 2006 I don't copy and paste it, I use it as a typing practice. -Izaak, Lord of the Lotus Clan.
cptheslayer 2 #18 Posted May 5, 2006 Ben, u beat the serpent because of Tao, so i assume that your serpent opponent must have had lots of cannoneers or melee units. Tao and monks own cannoneers. That is why serpent needs snipers or paralyze darts and weaken bolts to make the game balance.
IndominusRex 13 #19 Posted May 7, 2006 Yes he helps me..
Dragonsoul 3 #20 Posted May 7, 2006 Garrin is a plain samurai-like unit. Without extra horses, he is sooooooooooo weak without his BG.
[LOT]diablo 1 #21 Posted May 7, 2006 tao is weak against blunt and magic...... and tao regenerates his life fast and completely which is good..... if u have tao with 6 monks against an army of cannons tao is surely gona die first because he doesnt last long vs blunt... and tao is second best hero of the dragon.... because otomo, garrin, and kazzan kinda suck. if it wasnt for arah and tao there is little use of dragons heros but this is my opinion
IndominusRex 13 #22 Posted May 7, 2006 I don tuse Garrin in battle, I only use him to get horse hehe
Lord Kenji Oja 0 #23 Posted July 26, 2006 Yes. You get the ability to summon an extra two if you have Tao. If you lose him, you won't lose your monks, but you'll only get to resummon four again. Newbies tend to ignore Tao for more flashier units like Garrin. The fat guy Kazan sucks compared to Teppo.-Izaak, Lord of the Lotus Clan. 7804[/snapback] Yeah. I use Tao to summon the monks and then hold back until my Yang grows huge, and then I unleash hell. However, I DO use Kazan as a sort of battering-ram against buildings. Three fireballs from him sets buildings completely ablaze. Combine that with a pack of Fire Arrow archers, and you've got a demonlition crew on your hands...........
