Perhaps we can contact Ubisoft and ask them if they can make the game public domain? :-) If they do not plan to support it or sell it, they may go along with it.

Hey, I think thats a good idea, making Battle Realms public domain. There will be noobs and stuff running all over the lobby, however, if they are making a Battle Realms 2 then this is a good way to let more of the public know about it. Maybe some will really like it and might buy BR2, increasing the chance of it's success.

BenEducationNotice:

A few days ago I dowloaded WOTW from this thread that you started. Also I dowloaded the utility program to decompress .RAR files.

WOTW runs properly and plays well from it's own folder. I wondered if I should integrate the game files for WOTW with my BR which is already installed properly. I didn't want to assume that I could "copy and paste" the WOTW files/folders and integrate them with BR, for if I did that and it messed up BR then I wouldn't want to have to reinstall everything over again.

BenEducationNotice, I'd like to ask you what the best thing to do with the WOTW game files and folders? I would like to integrate them with my BR. Is it as simple as "copying and pasting" WOTW into the BR main folder OR should I leave each game separate and use the two different game shortcuts to start each game?

Thank you in advance for your thoughts and any help you may give.

Hi, actually, you can't put the WOTW to your original BR Folder. It's better to keep them separated.

The reasons are:

When you uninstall BR, the only thing that will be erased is the original BR, the WOTW will be still there and it won't work without the original BR. You have to delete the WOTW files normally if that happens.

You don't need to have two Battle Realms clients to play BR and WOTW. You can play Battle Realms if you want or Expansion (WOTW) with the file you downloaded.

The best place to keep the Folder that contains BR and WOTW is in somewhere in your computer that you could remember easily. I recommend you to put it in the ROOT of your drive (Example: C:/ or C:/Program Files/Here

Again, you don't need your original BR anymore if you have this pack at Filefront. (It's completed)

If you asks how do I know the site www.filefront.com, here are the answers:

I downloaded the game Ragnarok Online long time ago and it just leads me to that site. I know that's a very nice site to share big file as big as 1 GB. Later on, I register on it and try to upload the complete Battle Realms with WOTW on it so every one can download... Anyway, this website give me the idea to upload it at Filefront. I hope many players would download the game I uploaded so they can enjoy the great old game. Hehehe... ^_^

BenEducationNotice,

Thank you for informing me as to what's the best thing to do once decompressing the WOTW file. Both are in the root drive (program files) where programs are usually kept and each has it's own shortcut (BR and WOTW). Thank you again for your advice. *smiling*

To answer Alvz's question, no, Ragnarok is not free to play. My good old friend quit because of that. Now hes addicted to WoW.

One, it's not his file. Two, the guy who owns the file put that link up himself. Three, I don't like your way of conversing. Four, your username sucks.

I think its good that you've decided to put so much effort in uploading Battle Realms with WotW with it, since some people can't get the games from their area... i.e Me. I got Battle Realms as a fluke, there was like 2 in stock, and WotW is absolutely nowhere in my area... grrr

im downloading it even as i speak...i have battle realms, but i couldn't find WotW anywhere in my locale or where i used to live...when i got br it was the last one in stock at Wal-Mart...at least i think i got it at wal-mart, could have been EB Games..its been so long like 4 or 5 years since i got it...so i don't care if i download it and get in trouble, as long as i have WotW, im happy B)B):D

oh and i am getting the file from FileFront, dunno if that is the new link or not...if it is then im still going to keep downloading it
