Another good way to counter Bastion is to use Genji.  Get his attention by shooting him and use reflect.  You will get him most of the time unless someone is with him.  If he knows you're reflecting and doesn't shoot, attack him.

This.  It's so fun to troll the camping Bastions with Genji.  ^_^

One of the heros i never tried.

Until today. Killed 2 bastions that were targetting me with the reflect alone.

 

I lol'd.

Genji is great.  His ninja stars do a lot of damage if you hit them all, use right-click up close since it fires faster.  The climbing walls and double jump make him the new "scout" for me from TF2.  His ultimate is bad ass too since it does a lot of damage and still reflect while it's up.  You can get cards at the end of the match just from deflection kills.  You can deflect almost anything in the game including Junkrats grenades.  It doesn't work on "ray" guns like Mei's ice gun, Symmentra and Zarya.

on that note genji can insta kill most heroes with 150 hp pools, with a right click, melee and shift combo

ow is a good example of why the solly and demo have ammo limits....

and the heavy has damage falloff and spinup....

Exactly why he needs a cool down and ammo limits imo. Full range, massive ammo, huge firepower and a heal...He has counters but he seems stronger than the other heros by a significant degree. It's not he's OP when you play against him as such, it's just he's got far too much influence on a game atm compared to other heros. Plus he can RJ. He just needs a slight adjustment.

Eh, more cool downs would drag the game more, and this game is designed to be a quick, fast clash between two teams. Another reason for the ridiculous amount of damage you dish out, and the relatively small hitpoint pool.

Naah.  I doubt a second cooldown now and again is going to make much difference.

What I found odd is that there's very little spawn time differences on defense vs attack. They're almost identical (like ~5 seconds), which makes it super hard to get that last point without an absolute perfect coordinated push.

That I am hoping they fix before it becomes live - would make the game a little more balanced :P

I disagree, like Obvious said, it is supposed to be fast paced. Plus it creates adrenaline rushed overtime pushes.
