Kegs is nothing for lotus and wolf.... unless you play at valley of death were opponents are just separated by a river....

that is where u r wrong, Aramid. ID is useful regardless where the location is. ID can be used to invade your opponent's terittory safely. ID can also force out your enemy from their towered defenses. What is left for you to hope upon in winning the game once you have nothing to train your peasants and eventually your peasants will not be able to harvest? Lotus can use DC, but ID can still destroy buildings within DC range. Of course, ID wont be much effective when 1v1 lotus, but in 2v2 u should fear its power. U don't need to mass ID; just use about 5 or less to shoot from afar and destroy towers and then move in little by little; do not haste. Be patient and victory will be yours.

how hard it is to kill an ID user depends on the flow of the game... if it was a turtle match.. and the dragon already has a keep with arah, otomo and all those other hero's and whatnot, and his primary army are ID Kegs, than you're in for trouble..

These are common examples, that i've fought against:

IMO my reaction to what to counter with all depends on the flow of the game.. whether it's a fast/slow game.. if you're playing a 2v2 on VOD for example, i would make mugs/snipe and have my partner make support units to help take down those kegs faster and to also counter what the ID kegs' partner is making.

if it was a long 2v2 game like on Twisted Fate, i would maybe mass snipes and assault the dragons base, where he has no defenses (usually the back of the base) which usually forces the user to take his kegs and charge at the snipers. with micro, u can take those kegs down fast. if i get over numbered, i run the snipes back, turn on snipe and pick off the guys that run toward them. Rinse and repeat. Do this in time before he gets Dragon Spirit.

BTW this is just my advice and what i would most likely do if i was serpent. Dont care if u disagree, but it's worked alot for me in the past.

ajay, u r wrong. Kegs don't have to run to chase u. their ID range with zen arrow is way farther then ur snipe scopes. and they do area effect and ur musk are weak against explosive. Don't even try using musk against a good ID user.

Ok so those fat kegs are just good in long battle and in survival mode... They are most effective in kill the keep... hehehe....

i'm saying that ID Kegs are a hard class to micro, so if you're put in the right situation, u could easily kill them with snipes using the right kind of strategy. Hit and run for example.

Because it does not do much damamge and limited one only. It only does enormous damage to units that weak against it. i tried but it just suked. After using it, kegs are completely volnerable.

I believe that when using indirect fire the stamina of the kegs are greatly reduced.... hmmm.... maybe thats the reason why most of you guys are massing KEGS....

Massing is not good... Using different kind of units with good micro will be the best...

no..... her resistance from piercing and explosives are exceptional compared to the others....... but her melee resistances are poor... To balance it up I graded 6..... anyway fire is her only main weakness and few units used fire as attack equipment...

hmm well i voted new 4 no because every clan has got their own bg 2 be used alot or 2 be used minimumly...

if a player chooses 2 make alot of id it is not cheating or anything it is part of the clans abilities....

hmmm i get pissed of by id i hate it it is so strong but i never use it myself....
