I hold to the belief that this is due to the bloated number of people in our servers. I feel the game was meant to be played in smaller numbers. This would mean less people at every turn essentially making the artless tactic of spamming every choke point less fruitful.

In other words, if there aren't crowds at every corner you can't just blind fire into the fray and hope for the best.
