This guy was hacking up a storm his name id Triq. Couldnt get him banned. I would like to suggest an idea of Lotus members/recruits have a vote power of 3. A donator have a vote power of 2, and regulars have a vote power of 1. Otherwise its impossible to get a hacker banned.

I knew the free weekend would cause some kind of problem,just didnt expect it to be hackers.Im sure 95% of the time people get banned they just either play on another server or come to the forums with some bullshit excuse like "my brother installed it and I didnt know!",I like looking at the ban forums just to see what dumbass excuse they come up with next.They should just take their ban and go play on another server because once a hacker always a hacker.Could never understand why people hack in a FPS game with aimbots and whatever the hell a wallhack is (still dont know and really dont care)when its like trying to play golf for fun and walking the ball to the hole and dropping it in.I agree with the vote power 3 for members/recruits because we should have better judgment and not abuse our votes.When there is a voteban alot of people vote no just to be a jerkoff so they can keep listening to people complain.

the problem with free weekend is people create additional steam accounts. Even if they get banned, its of no consequence to them.

It uses a delayed banning system so hackers don't know if their hack is "vac proof" or not. It bans old hacks whitin a week or less and newer ones can take up to a month.

It's pretty bad though, still a lot of people slip through

you're pretty lucky you saw the gun

and just run in a windowed mode, slightly smaller than your screen resolution, you get no bugs from alt+tabbing, and you still get to check other applications (mIRC, MSN, ect)

mine never has any of the visual bugs from alt tabbing and I dont run in windowed mode because most games it drops fps a little.Takes like 10 seconds though to alt tab back to the game which sucks.

I don't think TF2 drops in fps, or, i've never noticed it, and my net_graph hasn't noticed it either

That's your fault. More exactly your client. Happens when you alt tab and in some other cases.

A hack like this could not be made as Model Rendering is clientside.

Sadly beetlesmod does not support these "powers". But I am working on lowering the percentages required for donators and donators can already initiate ban votes when normal people can't.

And the only way I could give all Lotus recruits/members benefits would be by moving to a subscription based application system... which for many reasons I won't do.

I regularly browse web shit while playing. Makes life bearable.

For TF2 it's not such a big deal, but for most other games it makes ADD syndrome livable.
