I'm waiting for Left4Dead. But Farcry 2 looks like its amazing, but I'l wait for ppl to play it. I've heard some good stuff about Fallout 3 so that might also be worth checking out.

I pre-ordered it on Steam. Looks pretty cool, although the bullets flying out of the crates is Hollywood, but to me Farcry was like a bad 80's action movie (which means it is awesome).

Unless left 4 dead turns out to be real similar to zombie panic and no real difference but graphics or controls then im going to be disappointed but if its everything they say its going to be then im going to play religiously.

I was wondering about that, can't say I actually know what would happen if you blew up a crate of ammo. just extra shrapnel?

I would like to say that it would explode the gunpowder in a hellfire of metal and heat, but it would really depend on the intensity of the explosion to see if the powder would ignite.

There's a lot of l4d gameplay out there- just check out youtube.

I'm sorta sold- on one hand, they're fast zombies- which (me being a huge Romero fan) I don't find so good. But, watching the gameplay vids, it does look fun. I'll wait for that demo to come out.

Im a huge zombie fan, read zombie survival guide, seen like every zombie movie out there and every zombie game.I need something to fill the survival horror gap I have been missing for a long time and im praying this game is everything im expecting it to be.I know RE4 was kind of disappointing since they were not really zombies but just being controlled by parasites and RE5 doesnt seem to involve the T-virus or any type of zombie making virus,this game is my big hope for survival horror goodness.Zombie panic got old fast.I want AI controlled zombies not players :/ hopefully smart AI too , no spending 5 minutes trying to get around a crate or getting stuck running into street lamps etc.

for some but I want crimson head/rage virus zombies after me.See the first 15 minutes of 28 weeks later.Remember that guy being chased out of the house and through the field to the boat with the zombies running like hell and gaining on him? Now that is an adrenaline rush, put those kind of scenarios in a game and im hooked.The slow ones I used to dodge in old resident evils(so I wouldnt waste ammo) im bored of,target practice is long over.
