myelin 10 #1 Posted April 6, 2009 I think this match-up is long overdue. It would be nice to setup a time/date to play each other on the 24/7 Goldrush #2 server. What do you guys think?
Rydawg 14 #3 Posted April 6, 2009 2 sets of people on gr 2 that play a lot.
Chamrox 0 #4 Posted April 6, 2009 Don't they play each other every night? Boring. What would be interesting is to see Lotus vs [Team Win] AND [TECHNO]
Deadeye 0 #5 Posted April 6, 2009 Team Win would win They both have a lot of good players across the board. It would definitely be a good game. Maybe Mana could do this? And give an Award for it? lol
Chamrox 0 #6 Posted April 6, 2009 Lotus vs Team Win If Team Win wins, then they get donor status for 1 month on the Goldrush server. If Team Win loses, they are all banned for 1 month from the Goldrush server. I am not a member of either clan so I approve this.
Rydawg 14 #7 Posted April 6, 2009 team win is good? I joined the server the other night and my team was horrible and most of my team was from team win. team fail
Deadeye 0 #8 Posted April 6, 2009 Well it is an open group... There are some really good guys in Team win.
Is going JDM 0 #9 Posted April 7, 2009 No love for team homeless?
Nket 16 #10 Posted April 7, 2009 you can have your little team wars on the goldrush all you want, it is a public server though. We won't close it down or anything so you may find it difficult to make it just your teams. As far as rewards for it, I don't think we would give out free donator benefits, that defeats the purpose of them.. and banning people for losing a match does not make sense.. Have fun with your mini team wars though also there is no Lotus team, so I fail to see how we could even have such a competition
Puppy Breath 0 #11 Posted April 7, 2009 1) Techno is a small group, we wouldn't have enough people for a team on our own. 2) We don't scrimmage
Miyari 33 #12 Posted April 7, 2009 It is as though the Gold Rush server exists in its own little universe.
Puppy Breath 0 #13 Posted April 7, 2009 I think it does sometimes. So many people play only that server x)
Deadeye 0 #14 Posted April 7, 2009 DONT BRING THAT PUPPY TO THE FORUMS...ITS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE IT TAKES CONTROL OF EVERYONES MIND AND THEY BECOME HELPLESS TO ITS CUTENESS, JUST LIKE ME!!!! lol Anyway Goldrush #2 is in its own universe. The group DP, which has its own servers now. Started on Goldrush #2. TeamWin, Techno play there almost exclusively. ESG also tends to have a lot of people that play there. Iv been playing on Goldrush #2 a LONGGG TIME. Some of the same people I play with now were there when I started. Its a tight knit community within itself. Goldrush #1 is for noobs. Miyari 33 #15 Posted April 7, 2009 I think it does sometimes. So many people play only that server x) PUPPY BREATH Sometimes I think it's a shame that I hate Gold Rush so much. It's becoming more apparent that we need to bring the Stock Maps Pain Train over that way.
Deadeye 0 #16 Posted April 7, 2009 Our teamstacking skills are greater than stock, Miyari. Last night our team had around 8 people with over 150 points. The other team had one person with 80. That was tru stacking that I doubt stock could pull off.

The Lorax 25 #19 Posted April 7, 2009 Clearly you underestimate just how much stacking we can bring from stock maps.
redruM_13 17 #20 Posted April 8, 2009 The stock stackers and goldrush stackers should meet. The stats would probably go up in a mushroom cloud though. hmmmmmm.... maybe that's what happened???????

Indeed i think we could send Miyari and the other stock map stackers crying if we played them
KillerKeg 10 #22 Posted April 8, 2009 Indeed i think we could send Miyari and the other stock map stackers crying if we played them The people who play on Stock Maps are better than those who play on Goldrush. Stacking on Goldrush is like beating up retarded children.

h3gi 5 #24 Posted April 8, 2009 I'll testify to the stacking on Goldrush 2. Too many times have I seen a single person get autobalanced from the stacked team, and consequently double the total points the other team has.
Rivanor 1 #25 Posted April 8, 2009 I'd be interested in a showdown of Stock Map Stackers vs the Goldrush #2 Stackers. I propose at least two maps, one of them gold rush, the other something like gravel pit, to avoid favoring the people who don't know that TF2 has other maps besides gold rush. Someone would need to be in charge of the whole deal, and we'd need a server. I'd be willing to do my part and organize up to 6 players for the stock team.
