Down to the wire meaning we won every map except like one round of GR3 (something would have to be seriously wrong for you to lose GR3, like letting Keg bottle all of your heavies...) and you spent the entire time trying to ragespy me and Keg while slingblade ran around like a jackass with his bottle? I'm going to have to second Keg's retarded children statement. I don't think either of us has the patience to stick around on that fucktardian map long enough to 'contend.' Also, I think it was only Keg, Nket and I.

If rage spying is going after medics with full ubers and snipers chilling on sniper decks and demos who were stickying our sgs, then by all accounts Im rage spying...

Facestabs...cry some MOAR. Sorry if I perfected the art of facestabbing, I mean really...yeah thats what I try for.

Edit: I like Goldrush, it isnt "fucktardian" to me. Whats "fucktardian" to me is changing maps every couple of rounds.

I enjoy most of the maps excluding 2fort and turbine. And when I play them I like to play them with friends and spend an afternoon playing them until we all get sick of it.

And just so happens, my friends and I like playing goldrush. In fact we like it so much, we can stand to play it A LOT. Whereas stock might make me play a map I hate or leave a map I love before I want to.

You forgot to mention that you died both times you got me immediately following your kill.

Also, not crying - you never facestabbed me, only backstabs. You were much more deliberate than you're revealing, sorry. Jumping up on the boxes to get Keg off the lamp rather than sapping a sentry on the direct left, or taking out one of the snipers on the roof ground level? Hah. Completely bypassing a sentry/teleporter camp and going up around the left side of GR3 to stab violently at a sniper who was barely scoring kills? I like Gold Rush too and would like to play it more. The fun thing about it is how hard it is for BLU to win, so it's an opportunity to play with friends and have good teamwork.

That's also why I like Badwater. You really gotta work together to win as BLU (but it's not as unfair as the last point on Gold Rush 3). There's a lot to be said for maps that are easier for offense at first and gradually become easier for defense as it progresses (dustbowl, gold rush, badwater). Although I am pretty sick of dustbowl right now, having played it so much.

Egypt is kind of crappy in that regard because that second point is way too easy to defend and often results in essential stalemates as each team takes turn failing to capture it. Maybe some new strat will come out later that will change my mind.

Actually this sounds like a good plan to me.

Sapping teleporters is like setting off alarms to the other team that sends them all into spy-check mode. And taking down snipers is the spy's job. I would consider a sniper who had good position on GR3 to be a pretty big threat.

Highlander format sounds fun.

I organize scrims on a pretty regular basis so I'd be interested in playing against whatever team you can come up with, even if it is outside the scope of "Stock vs GoldRush".

I agree with the list of players mentioned earlier as being good candidates, and I could probably give you another 20 names of people who would be good (but I won't to avoid leaving someone out). It really comes down to how much interest we have; ie, we may have to have more than one team.

Anyway, getting your team organized is the next step. I am positive I can come up with a really good team to challenge you.

Highlander is kinda eh-eh because it's only one allowed of each class, so you end up with people playing shit they aren't good at.

And I didn't really hunt him out.

If its the sg Im thinking about is was on ground level, and in a bad position right around the corner from spawn. If I took a chance at it I risk not even being to destroy it as well as just wasting my life. It was in a bad position. I skipped it.

As a spy yes I'm going to go up on the sniper deck. Its above the ground level and away from prying eyes. I thought I saw you on ground level and saw no one on the sniper deck. I look up and sniper. Jump up there and stab. Turn around and get a saw in the face.

I also killed 3 sgs as blu on the 2nd level of goldrush just on the FIRST stage. Unless I'm thinking about an earlier match... sorry might have been before you guys got there. Kind of sketchy.

Nope, I was talking about GR3 both times. Sniper deck being the top right corner building at final cap, and the sentry and teleporter being behind the dropdown to the tunnels and unattended. An easy gun to take out, IMO. But it doesn't matter! That Crytek kid you guys have is a weirdo.

But wow, if we're going to pick on anybody we should try and find some of the regulars on the 2fort servers. I'm almost ashamed we feel that Gold Rush is the map that's like beating retarded children. I don't know if everyone packs up at night and the scrubs come out (of course, when are the scrubs NOT out on 2fort) but those people are deliciously easy to devour and rip to shreds. Last night I decided I wanted to fuck around as scout (Rivanor, you might remember this) and went on 2fort to warm up - and proceeded to become a killing machine. No fucking wonder you scout kids rape me so bad; scout is so stupid easy to wreck and survive with. I have like 15 hours played as scout yet still managed to set a new kill record (highest of all of my classes, even) by basically not dying for like a half hour on my 4th life despite having only one medic I'd sometimes run into on my way back to respawn and hugging the fuck out of dispensers and supply cabinets. I finally lost a battle with a sniper in my own base's sewer, decided by the ultimate judge of skill, the crit melee hit.

That being said, moar scout Miyari. You guys enjoy the easy kills on me in the upcoming weeks.
