Maps
This area includes user made Map files for Battle Realms. Maps uploaded here should work on all versions of the game. That is Steam, GoG and Original CD version Battle Pack 2 or higher for (.map) (.bre files require Winter of The Wolf expansion to be installed).
To install:
Put downloaded maps (.map or .bre file format) in your Battle Realms\Levels folder. Extract them beforehand if needed (.zip, .rar, .7z), A a good free utility to use for archive extraction is 7zip.
When uploading a new map be sure to include a screenshot of how your map looks like.

This map was intended to be improved and i'm still working on it.
I have developed this map to 6 better versions which i would release them separately soon.
I'ts better to play the basic version before going to the next generation!

Snow in Serpentholm

Serpentholm is now snowy!
Sorry if there are many incorrect position of tiles or any other failure of the map.
It wasn't easy to change the original Grassland tilesets to Snow tilesets.
Rain weather is changed to hail.
Trees also remastered to snow.
I'm trying to fix many things by now.

Dueling place.bre

Dueling Place was a simple and quick-battle-type map.
Dueling Place features 2 players battle that wouldn't waste much time
as it the spawning point of both team was only separated by a wide pond.
The name was inspired by a yu-gi-oh online duel website Duelingnetwork.
Make your battle here! Be genious! Be quick! Time wasted=your team wasted!
Defeat your enemy! Slow 'em down! Kill 'em all! Rule the land!
Recommended game settings:
Starting army: Low
Starting resources: Low
Starting horses: Medium
Yin/Yang acquisition: High/fast
Rice growth rate: Medium
Difficulty: Medium/Hard
Game mode: Survival/Kill the keep
Other settings is up to you!

+ good balancing
+ various tactical options
+ equal rice plants and water spots for both players
- not the best map vs Ai
- relatively large for a 2-player map

This skirmish sets you in in a vile swamp full of mysteries and dangers. You don't have that much place to build your city, so you had to conquer other players in order to get more influence on this map.

Lots of great ideas from very old maps, and some new ones ive never seen so far, too. Crazy how many things you can build with 4 different stones, lol. I would love to see you playing with the coloring tool some more for shadowing lowgrounds, cliffs, paint lighting from fires. -
