I think you need to open ports on your router..

The BR ports are: 7177 7175 and 7174 (UDP)

If you don't know how you can go to this website: www.portforward.com then click Portforwarding and find your router from the list, it will then give you a list of games, find BR and it will show you how..

Okay, did you forward the 3 ports to the IP of your computer? 7174 7175 7177 (UDP)

Executed BR from Windows Firewall? (Or any other firewall program?)

TIPS:

To know your IP:

go to START--->ALL PROGRAM--->Accessories--->Command Prompt--->(Type ipconfig and hit ENTER)

Ask more questions :)

It will say something like:

IP address . . . . . . . . blah blah

Subnet mask . . . . . . blah blah

Default gateway . . . . . . blah blah

It's quite obvious which one is the IP address .. ;)

I'm going to join in. ATC always disconnects.

My subnet and IP are totally not alike. So what now?

I'm not sure if direct IP is effected by firewalls, but you might want to try turning yours off if you have one.
