{HeRo}GeneralDS 4 #9 Posted May 8, 2007 ok this is getting way too out of hand i think >_<... I am an American and saying the people of my country have a secret stash of weapons in their homes is pushing it for me. Please do not speak ill of my country again or I will have to eat every last one of your memories. But anyway, this stuff is getting too out of hand. Arresting a person just because they make a map of a school for a game? Not only was it stupid based on the times, but also there is no reason to do so. Do they have proof he was planning anything? I do not think so!
Speedy 11 #10 Posted May 8, 2007 Sorry if it offended you, but the US is generally associated with guns. About 59.1 million adults in the United States personally own a gun. Roughly 93 million adults, or 49% of the adult U.S. population, live in households with guns. There is no national gun register in the USA, so it is impossible to know exactly how many guns are in circulation or who has them, but the FBI estimates there are more than 200 million guns in civilian hands. - Wiki

I do not think so! Well I'd have to disagree with you there. Im not trying to start any emotional fights, nor offend your patriotic beliefs. Im not American, so you should take my words on this with a grain of salt. However... The American government is probably the most lax in the world concerning gun laws. Hell, even Arab countries have less guns than Americans per household on average. Quite frankly, America is the country that fits the description of "The people of my country have a secret stash of weapons in their homes". I'd also like to rectify your defensiveness regarding your country. Your country started the Vietnam War over allegations of Communist sympathies within the North Vietnamese Government, while in reality they only became Communist to keep the peace with the unforgiving powerhouses up North i.e China and The Soviet Union. America killed, raped, tortured my people in Vietnam. When my people fled from their homes, where their ancestors lived for thousands of years and put every ounce of their strength in building peace and freedo, your country refused. After years of intense lobbying and protests, your country finally allowed the Vietnamese refugees to enter. And when in your country, they were subject to your racism. Doesn't America owe my country some sort of compensation? Vietnam is not a poor country: her lands are fertile, fish are plentiful in the sea and people skilled and hard working. But the people are poor. Their children are forever plagued with grotesque genetic defects from the chemical agents the Americans sprayed on our land. And even when we came to America with hands in surrender and are subject to racism and years of struggling in your harsh capitalist system? If anything, I should be the one eating your memories. Lord Kenji Oja 0 #16 Posted September 16, 2007 The American system has been plunging out of whack for a long time, it seems. Also, Miss.............Futs? It may have been idiotic for the U.S. to get entrenched in Vietnam, and the atrocities that may have occurred, but to condemn all Americans for 'Nam, you ought to realize that the U.S. was going in to protect the Democratic South Vietnam(even though the war allowed drugs and corruption to permeate S.V.'s economy), which the Soviet-supplied North was intent on wiping out. Granted, the atrocities commited aren't excusable, but there comes a time when one must let go of the past in order to progress into the future. On topic. Idiotic. Plain and simple.
