I still play the game, but unfortunately I cannot maintain a constant connection...I have been assailed by rogue antispyware programs and infested with adware, I am turning into an infested one/unclean one/diseased one combo. I can always try to play again, providing my mom's boyfriend doesn't decide to cut my internet because of a question he knew he would get mad at no matter how I answered...I hate it when people try to talk with me while drunk...

My point, I still play occasionally and I also try to be online whenever I am not made to go for a walk against my will. (I say something against going for a walk and I get a huge lecture and the risk of losing internet and TV.)

Yes my life is currently in a horrible state, and I cannot wait for school to begin again!

And to support cp, the players are the ones to worry about not the game. The game may still be struggling, but it is alive nonetheless.

The game is not dead like the people think. The time is not long ago where Ed Castillo (Father of Battle Realms) had sayed that they are planning Battle Realms 2. And the community here is great enough (400-600 members?) that the game would not dying. When I play in the internet then many players are in the lobby so when someone says that not many people playing Battle Realms then it isn´t right.

Its not that not many people had bought Battle Realms. Its only that the game wasn´t selled good enough so the producer of the game hadn´t earn the money that they had expected. But only when a game don´t had bring enough money you can´t say that nobody had buy it. Today you need thousands or millions of buyers for a game when you want to make money of it. And the producers don´t get the most money of the game. The publisher is getting the most.

For example: The game Sacrifice from Shiny Entertainment has got the same problem like Battle Realms (and the game is one year older it was out in stores 2001) but there is existing a great community too.

No game can be dead. A game is dead when the last player on the world had stop to play the game.
