aha you got part of it now. He had Chemists with starburst rockets like you said, and the Samurai with dragon skin, but no geisha. I'll give away my understanding of it now..

CP was in the right-hand side of Freedom.

When the game started he built roughly 10-12 huts spread around the centre of the map, and a Alchemist Hut + Fireworks Factory at the top and bottom of Freedom close to Rin, so as to have a BG equipped chemist producing and re-equipping hub at each end of Rin's base. cp then repeatedly attacked buildings at one side with chemists as a lure, while his main chemist group was attacking and destroying buildings at the other end. 6 chems with their BG and damage upgrade will destroy buildings in 2-3 seconds.

Because cp attacked with chemists so often, Rin could never build higher than a town square. cp must have destroyed his Crypt about 6 times or more at the end.

But despite cp's best efforts Rin still managed to gather 6-7 SC, which killed cp's chemist raids several times.

Toward the end of the game cp had Arah to scout out buildings, and sams with d-skin to kill Rin's peasants and lure his SC. cp also had the Dragon's Monument, but he never used it. I suppose he wanted to win without it.

The game ended with Rin having such little rice from rebuilding, and so few units, that cp simply overpowered his SC+DC with sams. Rin gathered less than half of the rice & water that cp did.

A simple way for Lotus to stop this would be to make alot of blade acolytes staff adepts and healers, and then to charge past cp's huts and destroy his base in the early game.

i would say Forsaken is not a new player. But Forsaken is too picky of a team. That is he or she will not play with bad players. I hate that. Oh and Forsaken got really pissed off when lost to RoXaS.

I haven't played BR for more than a year now, so I don't know who of the players I knew are still playing this game. What I know is that bax and cp were already VERY good players when I quit BR, so it's possible that one of them is now the best. I really enjoyed teaming up with them. I remember baxter being the horse master and I remember playing with cp (Serp/Serp) vs ben/some of his phillipino friends (Serp/Lotus) on vod. Those games sometimes lasted more than 1 hour!

I know this thread is about the present best players but I still want to mention the best BR player of all time "Melkor". He quit BR a while ago so new players won't remember him. His skill was outstanding, he always knew exactly what to do no matter what situation he was in. In BR people mostly dont plan how to build their bases, he did it perfectly. Of course he didn't win every game, but none of the best players back then (Darky, AJay, me, etc.) had positive stats (more wins than losses) against him. Too bad you can't see what I'm writing about because it's not possible to save replays of BR games (like in Warcraft 3).

So the best player of all time is MELKOR!

I never really played with Melkor. I only played a couple games with him last year. He was good though and he played up to his reputation and he was in the tournament last year too. He most likely would of won it but he had to go away for a couple weeks in the middle of the tournament so he had to quit it.

But considering I haven't really seen Melkor play I would have to go with Darky. He to me was the best player I have ever played with. His micro was so good and he always knew what to do before you did. Him and AJay were a great team too. One of the best.

I too have never played with Melkor, I guess he was around many years ago. I began playing BR just under 2 and a half years ago. But I've not been an active player through that whole period.

yea melkor was really good. i played with him once 2vs3 i was with him vs darky ajay and some other guy who was also good. we won he controled his units very well. i was amazed, he did almost everything. i felt like a noob next to him. good times!!! and darky was also really good one of the few people who i couldnt beat in 1vs1. good times!! to bad they stopped playing

Love this thread I just wish how a player like melk would come back and join the tournament I am ready to lose to him, but that would make BR better because more good players are coming back.

About melkor and darky, they were great players. I remember I lost to darky's swords base rush my dragon. how funny it was. I watched melkor fought darky a few games. they were great. The way they played were awsome. But i would not say that their way of playing was unique. I think all very good players play the same way, but with different thinking. After playing for so long, i have seen many good players become as good as darky and melkor. These players are the clever and fast thinking players; very flexible. the only one player that i know that is very flexible is BAXTER.

Melkor and darky played with their enemy's mind just like i do play now. But i dont know if they enjoy it as much sa i do. I only seek to enjoy playing br the way i feel fun. Some players might say I dont play seriously. but i just play as i feel. What is the point of playing serious if I dont enjoy it? Since I have fought many players and i get bored of it, i like to team with BAXTER sometimes to do some stupid things. And this is really fun, like killing Baxter using dark pact, bloodbond, life siphon. But the funniest thing is that baxter does the same thing to me. So when we both play stupid, we lose. I just laugh. It brings me much joy.

So i would say that, I dont know what to say much about darky and melkor since I had no much experience with them and also since I now see that many very good flexible players' skills at their skill levels or even higher. Of course, if they kept playnig, they might have been stronger or stayed at their limit (humans have limited skills).

The best present player to me is Baxter (if baxter can accept any outcome of every battle like i do, i'd like him even more).

The faster learner from me is epoX. in one or two months, epoX has become a good fast player. (need to train his brain abit)

The most fun careless drunk high lustful player is defaulT.

The hardest Serpent player for me is Ben. (needs to play other clans)

The best dragon player in my opinion now is epoX.

The best wolf leader is Grayback.

The best lotus player is hobbit.

The best hordes killer is dragon kenji.

The best loser to noobs is cptheslayer.

The best Lotus serpent v lotus serpent game partner is Fresco. (just starting to try other clans, hope Frsco enjoys them)

The most improved player in 1v1 is RoXaS. (a smurf)

The most sore loser and not fun player is Forsaken. (only teams up with good players or quits. never appreciates his or her loss. a smurf also)

The most wanted player is cptheslayer. (most of the time, players in a room choose my team number immediately after i pick my team number. sometimes, i see all 4 players has number 1. So who is fighting who? Sometimes i see 3v1. I hate this)

A smurfer probably I have not once seen cp use the colour Red, or any colour except blue for that matter.

i cannot even remember. maybe it was me. you know i canno beat everyone. I lose to every one. So when i lose, dont think that it is a smurf. Dont need to win all the time to have fun. Let your feelings flow along your enthusiasm.
