i mean like this if 39 was hurler lava rock, so where the id 39 was declared ? how to find them ?? maybe the information of damage and attack type is stored there ...

you could search the hurler in text string. usually you could see it 2352C6

as for the team color editing. confuses me more but i experimented with some hex and came up with dark red, brown, dark blue, and dark green.

here's what i know: usually it's a six-digit hex code but if it's 8, the last 2 digits represent transparency. but seriously, applying it in editing BR colors is confusing.

hey can some1 tell me how to change the look of a peasent like make a dragon peasent look like kenji young..... like the golems in lotuc can build and get rice and water i want to make a peasent look like kenji

im not trying to search that key, but i want to tring to serach where the missille is declared, like what is the model, how far the range, what is the attack type, how much damage done ....

hehee.. im too, however just as marcelo say, the hex is mirrored and half of them mean color in map, another mean color of the player...

however in battlerealms.dat i found musc "80 3f" and in the color mode i found "80 3F" is equal with "FF"

so are the "40 3F" which ( in unit hp represent 40 3F mean 3/4 hp ??) is equal with 3/4 * FF = BF ??

Clue :

in decimal value there ( i believe the way to read the hex is reversed ) :

3F40 = 16192

3F80 = 16256

please anybody check it, and i will give my comment B) , because i found this forum just become the 'requesting' one, but please don't lazy to research, i know little trick to 'modify damage' but i ll share if anyone try to post what they get, or what they idea, sorry not only "please tell me ...", or "can some body ..." (TRULY NO OFFENCE but i think every people will happyly teach you if you trying to support them)

the trick is work like this ...

i know bandit have melee piercing damage, i want his attack become stronger ...

so i change it melee address to the werewolf, because werewolft has good piercing damage :P just it

if u fell it still to weak, use the super grayback melee attack, it also piercing...

same with kabuki warrior, i change his magic attack to the magic attack issyl has ... but isee it doesn't become much stronger...

i call it trick because i can't change the exact value of damage, but i can find another same attack type with greater or smaller damage :D

may be the reason like this :

grayback attack is piercing and 'yang' based

but kenji in serpert is designed to become 'yin' base.

but my kabuki warrior with issyl never give me yin point ... :D

kenji use sword maybe his attack was cutting.

NO!!my kenji in serpent was not the KENJI SERPENT..

its the kenji dragon..but i placed him in the serpent's keep..

and even though i placed him in dragon's keep..SO he can be a yang earner..

it also crashed the game..dont know why.. <_<

but thank you for your explanation it gave a clue.. :D

yes i know but WOTW can also play old BR game ( doesn't include upgraded townsquare and minus 1 WOTW hero)

if you're starting skirmish, you can choose either BR or WOTW game, but if u playing kenji's journey, it mean u're playing BR game ( realise that in kenji journey, you can't upgrade your town square) not WOTW game so the game will crash if there a WOTW attack.

IF you're playing grayback journey, so youre playing the WOTW game.

about the color mod i have already explain it in page 11...

but i'll continue later ...

yeah it works

the entangling the druidess does is set as its innate

so if you change the kabuki missle and its innate it works

go to address 226E12

change both 57 to 2A

then go to 226F43

change 3C to 24

after then the kabuki with have the druidess missle with entangling effects

hmm .. i remember that i have try it and does get it work, maybe i have modyfing the wrong address for the innate ability.

however i'll try it tonight, now i must finish my final project for my college .. it's really annoying .. :o

ok thanks grimy, i have something, and hoping this is new modding

last night i found that you can make a normal unit attack increase with the yin and yang ...

the code uses 4 address ( the addres can be found directly after the stamina address )

sorry i cant post the address because my notebook was borrowed.

but if you check directly into hero declaration, youshould find that every hero has

the value like this 'CDCCXXXX' after the 3 value of stamina, the annotation look's like this:

64000000640000006400000000002040 CD CC CC 3D (but kenji one with dragon has little different value but same with necromancer).

so it work like this:

the first two address must filled with CDCC and the next filled with the value

try putting 803F to the last 2 address and you'll find that you're unit attack will multiplier as your yin/yang value

how to make a unit can call lightning like zymeth, i have try put his innate to master warlock, and change both melee or ranged attack of master warlock, the master warlock cannot call lightning bolt when it rain ....

in other case, i success giving any unit koril innate, it seem work on every unit.

and for druides entangling is work if the unit range has samae missile as druidess has.

for another innate like ronin sword, hoever i only can be used by ronin because in ronin animation, he summoned 2 sword after eh dies so the effect is triggered by the sword, "IF" we can add/attach the sword to another unit it is possible to make that unit has the ronin innate ( IMO ) the same thing also found in samurai.
