go to 232422 then go to the last letter of the secons mask.tga. go 20 spaces to the right, the 00 is the rice cost.

go 23 spaces to the right from mask.tga and you stay at the water costs. 26 spaces to ying/yang costs

I know that. But what will I put on the spaces???? I want it to be 400 rice 200 water cost 2 yin. What will I put to the spaces that you said????

i'll tell you.

the first space is always a real hexcode. (i use the windows calculator to do ist)

the second space ist always 256.

if you put in:

00 02 at rice costs

the unit will cost 512 .

because: 02 x 256 = 512

for 400 you had to put in: 90 01

for 200: C8

So let me get this straight. I will put beside 80 3F is 90 01 00 00 C8 00 00 02 00? I tried putting this but nothing happened. I tried putting up kenji's cost to nightvol but still nothing. Maybe the problem is not in the cost. Please help me put nightvol to the lotus keep by replacing soban. I have a good idea at the BG of nightvol. like the necromancer who can summon 3 spirit warriors. Can I put it to nightvol and change the summoning to be a hordeling???

As for the Abilities. When i'm changing the non-hero units. I'm having troubles with them. Could we do something about it? besides their two BG's (well some of 'em) what else should I edit?

if you notice the values are those of the units

example dragon large

05 is the value for dragon peasant

08 is the value for dragon spearman

00 is the value for dragon archer

01 is the value for dragon chemist

if you changed it to

you would start with all dragon heroes kenji and monk

you can also use this to do 1v1 to test who is stronger

just replace the others with a useless unit like horse[51]

yeah the nighvol cant have a bg .....but one day maybe xD

I have modded NV to have BG...he has default BG, which summons hordelings, three hordeling per NV.

He can also train into shrine and Fireworks and have two other diff BGS....

I have uploaded the test mod, just incase if any modders wants to have a look..go to this address 232422 and look of Portait...uva.

Train spearman in Dojo again to have NightVol.

Note: This is just test Mod, DragonClan is highly unbalanced...

There are other BG edits like, i have given default BG to archer->BladeAcolyte BG.

Changed BG of Kazan to indirect fire.

So you can have any unit to have any DEFAULT BG, but their training BGs are limited to thier Clan BGs.

for e.g Archer can have deafult BG from tht of lotus clan, but when he is trained into shrine or FW he can only hoave those BGs which are related Dragon clan e.g. Chi shield etc..

Heroes can have any default BG (offcourse only those which doesnt have animation frame constraint:))

heores can be modded to have training BGs of that particular clan in which they are summoned...

e.g. I have NV in dragon thus i can have all Bgs tht of dragon clan...

or i was thiking to give watch tower BG to some UNit.. i think it should be possible since watch towers doesnt seem to have any anime frame with it..

1. There is a hack exe-> made by marcello known as fog of war mod. Try to search for it you should find it.

2. See my previous post, i have uploaded a document. You refer that. also refer to page 14-17 page of this forum. A very good guide has been given by Zejiwarrior(you can find post by his name...)
