Yeah I go with some other people every year. I wish they'd mix it up a bit. It's hilarious drunk (which is me most of the con when I'm not volunteering).

Haha, my best friend was operating the cameras this year as staff. Guy with long hair and glasses.

So, remember that Thor guy who was on stage? I'm not sure how drunk he was that night... But while the elevators were "broken" in the Sheraton, he comes up to us yelling, "IM FUCKING THOR" and it was obvious he was smashed. I was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe. He's a hilarious drunk.

Technically they did mix it up this year. Usually he shows the mockumentary and the "If a celebrity voiced hentai" clips. He's trying to mix it up by having people sing on stage first.

Tom Wayland (Dick Tripwire) gave me a random Pokemon he had in his bag for asking him a question at his panel. (Which was severely lacking in guests this year.) When I got his autograph, there was only 20 people in line in front of me.

Madoka Magica just made a direct entry to my top 5 anime.

Not all stories need an happy ending (yes, i do not consider Madoka Magica ending a happy one). After all, in real life, there's not much happy endings.

Looking forward to the sequel (movie).

After having my heart shattered to pieces by Madoka Magica, i decided to take a turn of events.

I'm now aiming to watch Toradora, Lucky Star, K-On!, Tamako Market and (maybe) Kaichou wa Maid-sama!

Need to watch happy stuff.

I lately have entered what I call "Anime Nirvana State" what implies I would not give a fuck about anything or even going through the effort of replying to posts, browsing the forum, etc, just watching anime, nothing else.

But on this one, sorry but you're dead wrong, and not only because that movie its one of my favorites of all time, it also deserves all the praise it got, and deserves the rank of masterpiece, and why?

Please let me explain in a professional matter.

Animation: More fluid than ever, utilized sparingly, meaningful and with purpose, Kyoto Animation best work so far after Clannad and Clannad After Story.

Ambiance: Deliberately and effectively muted; slow but absorbing from start to finish.

Development: Nigh perfect in execution and tension building.

Characters: Nagato and Kyon swept the spotlight from Haruhi’s grasp, great character development that never was presented in the prequels, its done masterfully here.

Movie’s influence: Changed my perspective on the whole franchise.

The Disappearence of Haruhi Suzumiya is an exemplary movie that deserves plentiful kudos for revisiting its own previous materials, utilizing them to maximum effect and make an engaging story out of it while tying off all loose ends. This approach transforms how I see the whole franchise and presents to me how a movie with a mixed bag of prequels, can be done right.

Final Score: 10/10 (Masterpiece/ Amazing)

I never disrespected your opinion for what is worth it, if I did please explain in which segment of my review did I offend you, and I am a little sad to hear that you couldn't even go through the effort of reading, when someone explains why their opinion differs of yours, liking has not a lot to do with quality such as animation, characters, story and sound, enjoyment is important to an anime, but its not paramount.

I take anime very seriously, and have learned to respect everyone's opinion over the years, I would like to get along with you, like I do with everyone in this clan, but its a challenge when someone simply replies simply with "wall of text was skipped" and "meh", we are both grown ups and you should act like one.

Mutual respect goes both ways, even if my opinion differs from yours, I at least went through the effort of explaining myself, and haven't written nothing with the sole purpose of offending you, I was purely explaining why I "think" you're wrong in saying the movie is, and quote, " far from the best".

I've always had a lot of respect for you, but after being answered in such a way I don't know how we stand, I would like us to remain friends, but its up to you.

seems that i did state myself abit wrong. didn't mean any harm tbh.. i hadn't read what you said, as i couldn't. but nevertheless, i don't really wanted to fire it up or anything, just stated myself wrong and it probably sounded as a thorn in the back, the thing i said. but yeah.. i simply assumed you were going to punch me in the face, with that wall of text. i know that movie is kinda "good". but not really my liking, which is why i said it wasn't the best.. if it's something, there hardly have any interest on the person itself, it's not really worth the watch. (probably a better answer of what i did above)
