I noticed over the years that most people that watch anime don't really pay attention of even care about the soundtrack, and if you ask them about it, they will probably only think of the OP and ED. Of course this doesn't apply to everyone. Anime presented us with amazing soundtracks over the years, from Cowboy Bebop amazing jazz tunes, to Fate Zero epic music, soundtracks like these truly changed our vision of what anime can present us with in terms of music. I also wanted to share one of my favorite tracks of all time, from one of my favorite anime/soundtrack of all time, Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn. This is the live version, just like most of soundtrack is performed by an orchestra and composed by Hiroyuki Sawano (you may know him for the soundtracks he did for Attack on Titan, Kill la Kill and many others). Before I say anything, all those translations suck, apart from the 1st one, amazingly that translation is correct, 2nd one is debatable. Also having prior knowledge of the Fate series helps... Alright moving on. First lets take a look at at the 1st one, from Fate/Stay Night (2006)...I can't defend that one, it's just stupid, it's like saying is sunny because the sun is out. Moving on, the 2nd one, Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works, although I'm not a fan of that particular translation, that specific sentence does make sense when we take in account the context. But for those that aren't familiar with F/SN there's an easy way to explain it, let's just deconstruct the sentence. Just because you're CORRECT doesn't mean you're RIGHT As we can recall from our basic knowledge, both CORRECT and RIGHT are adjectives and synonyms, and at first glance they do mean the same thing, however that isn't quite right. CORRECT refers to an answer or statement or way of acting that is correctly done. Example- "Name the capital of Japan." Tokyo" "That's correct" RIGHT however can have another meaning, one of them being fair, morally correct and socially correct. Example-"Your way of thinking isn't right" So let's take a look at the sentence again: Just because you're CORRECT doesn't mean you're RIGHT And interpret it taken in account what we know now... Just because WHAT YOU'VE SAID IS CORRECT doesn't mean THAT MORALLY YOU'RE RIGHT But even if after all that you're not convinced with that translation and interpretation, let's just take a look at UTW translation to see the differences (same scene): Alright moving on to the 3rd one, Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya 2wei Herz!, in this scene Miyu, claims that never during her childhood (that we don't know much about, yet) celebrated her birthday, so she just casually asks "What do you do in a birthday party?" No longer a Sexy King:^) 5,592 #1394 Posted September 14, 2015 When i first watched Steins Gate 2-3 years ago i loved it without barely any complains and even gave it a 10/10, but after the game got released earlier this year i got it on the ps vita. Watching the anime again it feels like it's a massive rush and sometimes episodes feel like they're missing a line connecting them, like they're almost standalone, mainly in the begin.
