Just To Fix What Was Wrong...

I made an un-ban post that archived and I was able to look at it and see what was messed up. I read the sticky located here:

I hope this time, it's in the correct format. Also, I have some things to explain. I think some people took me the wrong way with the last post; I made a video about it that explains (if the Lotus staff wishes to watch the video and see it, they may as to judge my actions), and I apologize for affecting Lotus staff with my ban. I might of came off as difficult to deal with in the last post, or perhaps a young kid. I assure you that is not the case here. I am going to post the previous post here, so whomever views the page can see it without having to look back, for their convenience:

So, today, about 5 minutes ago, I was banned on New Jersey Lotus Servers for Dustbowl. I am unsure as of why I was banned, or on what grounds, but I believe it was for spamming a bind.

The bind was inappropriate, and I understand that spamming binds is an annoyance to all players as some people need to read the chat to communicate with people. I can say I won't do it again if I actually get back on to the servers. But in case I was banned for being rude to other players, I want to make something clear; the player I was harassing with my binds (which, yes, were inappropriate) was a close friend of mine; we are still friends, and he harasses me all the time. Just what friends do. The player I was harassing has been on my Steam Friend's list for almost a year now, and I know him personally.

If it matters, the player's name was Zenfold.

I would appreciate to be un-banned; if not, I understand and will move on. Lotus servers are popular, and it would be nice so I can go back onto the servers and play.

But, if I was banned under player harassment, I want that to be corrected immediately, or I will take further action. I would never want to harm or make fun of another person if I did not know them. He was a close friend, and we are close. I simply refuse to think the person who did ban me (whoever it was) understands our friendship and the person did not notify me to stop (at least, not the person who banned me).

If I was banned for spamming binds and causing a problem, I understand and wish to have the ban undone if possible."

That was the incorrect post in it's entirety. I was then informed that it was set-up incorrectly; which it was. I have not been able to get on and check anything until it was too late, so I am here to try and fix it now.

Also, someone posted (I believe it was ProLoser) that I was upset and used the # to represent my anger/frustration. I hope the video link below the appeal explains my reasoning a little better. I did not do it out of frustration.

The only way I plan to change is to stop spamming my binds. Otherwise, I'm a kind and outstanding team player. I understand I was in the wrong, and I know that it's immature. I play competitively, and when I win I spam just cause I think it's funny; sometimes, people find it funny and sometimes not. I am a relatively nice guy though. I've met a good deal of my friends through Lotus, and even though I am competitive, I'm a team player, and I'm helpful. I respect all people on my team (even though the spam might not be considered as such) and I like to think that my kindness can be looked at in a good light. Besides the spamming, I don't really hate or bully other players; I have actually stopped bullying in the voice chat several times, and helped new players learn the game. I promise in the future to not spam anymore past this point on Lotus Servers. Thank you for your time (since you took the time to read this post).

It is immature humor; but it just kind of my humor. I think everyone can have fun with immature humor. Sometimes, that is just how it is. I hope that there is no hard feelings on any of the staff at this point. Also, thank you for the clap. I hope things can be resolved soon; if not, I will wait it out. I am not here to upset anyone. Just explain what happened and make sure everyone understands what I mean.

Edit: Also, not to make lighter of the situation, but being out of my own home right now has me trying to find some laughter midst the madness. I am just trying to make sure people smile, even if I am not.

No need for the Pikachu thing. xD I feel bad about this whole situation enough. I feel kind of lame bringing up my personal issues on YT enough; I just feel it was necessary, considering my situation. Anyways; I will wait for someone to look at this and if my un-ban happens, I will certainly be on the Lotus Servers by the end of the night. If not, I will wait it out. I do not want to inconvenience anyone about un-banning me tonight. People got stuff to do. I wish I could get someone's attention faster, though...I'll just have to be patient. Thank you for the words, Chaz. I hope to not be an issue in the future.

go to your console, type "unbindall" and then go to options -> keyboard -> use defaults to reset all your binds to default. thank you and please don't use them again.

Since this ban appeal had so much effort put into it, so it appears anyhow, I would reduce the ban length to one day. I would have done three but since it is the weekend I presume you probably have time to play TF2.

Thank you, everyone. I appreciate the feedback. I tried as hard as possible to NOT mess up this particular post. Thank you Brent, for reducing the ban limit to one day. I will certainly be on Lotus Saturday night, after I get off work (and hopefully home, if things work out). I learned a lot from this situation, and I hope to be a help more than a hindrance in the future. Also...

Doesn't anyone else take the time to work on making their un-ban serious? A lot of you are saying that no one really tries this hard or puts this much effort into it.

I mean, besides the video, it only took roughly 15 minutes to sit down, read the posts, create a new post, use information from the posts to explain my case, get my SteamID, and the other little things...I don't think I did a ton of hard work besides being polite.

@AverageComputerGuy I think you are right. I was able to get on the other servers, just not the one I spammed on in the first place, the New Jersey Dustbowl server. Hopefully it is fixed soon.
