With Google+ being shoved down our throats...I'll just quote what someone posted, which makes perfect sense. Thoughts? As social media will no doubt continue to grow, I think this may or may not become a more common thing. After all, we post pictures of us being half-naked, or down right naked...on a somewhat 'daily' basis. http://in2eastafrica.net/photos-of-two-naked-women-at-arizona-university-halloween-parties-go-viral-on-twitter/ http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/10/28/facebook-giraffe_n_4171246.html

Only I use about 2-3 VPN's / Proxys when I just do abstract searching online. Most of the time whenever I go to sites Im not a part of I'll crank those babies up.

luop90 4,400 #7 Posted December 1, 2013 Your ISP can still rat you out. Too both of you, there are actually certain proxies that go between the ISP and you, and than you and the internet. And yes this is possible. While these aren't easy to find (or cheap....) they are out there. And yes I can actually be behind 9 proxies if I use them all at once. 3 of them are integrated into the computer itself so that every exchange to the net (whether program or user) is shielded. 1 of them (though never used, I haven't done anything illegal to warrant the use of this) goes inbetween your ISP and you, it acts as a middleman between your computer accessing your ISP. It literally physically connects from the wire that goes from your router/modem to your computer, it reroutes traffic to a different ISP so all yours gets is that you're accessing Google a whole lot. The others are free ones downloaded off the net that I can turn on in a jiffy if I ever feel the need. (Hotspot Shield being the most used one, easiest to turn on and off.) So yes people....

Barbaro 466 #9 Posted December 2, 2013 other then brag, pls give them links or tips... This is probably better, would have come full circle. I'm still wondering why users today complain about privacy on Social Media, such as Google+ forcing you to put your real name out in public...or Facebook removing the ability to keep your account completely off the radar. Social Media ain't free, by signing up, you technically waive a LOT of your rights.
D-Bee 3,448 #10 Posted December 2, 2013 If the NSA or whoever (hackers!) had access to all of my information they would find out some very boring things. A total waste of time. I think what we're all forgetting is that many government agencies have ALWAYS had access to your information, and things have been fine. The scary part is what one may choose to do with said info ( McCarthy era BS) so we need to keep a close eye on our leaders and hold them personally responsible if things turn south.

No argument there, haha. Problem is, there's no plan now and never will be to hold 'leaders' responsible because they're never gonna get changed. No matter who you put in the White House, it's not gonna change, only get worse. (AHC). Same thing with divisions like NSA/FBI. Anarchy ftw.
