Jesusfreak 312 #528 Posted June 30, 2015 (edited) Previous on Heroes of Otorno As Oskar still were dominated by the evil vampire, Eala and Sol was searching for the niffler in the cave. Oskar the niffler had in the meantime told everything to the vampire the reason why they were interested the cave, but unlucky for the vampire, Oskar had not paid much attention to the whole thing, and was just told there would be tons of gold. As Eala manage to find Oskar and the vampire, the vampire demand Oskar to attack Eala, which was something Oskar would never do, but his resit to the domination from the vampire was not enough, he charged at Eala and swung his axe at her which was.. (wait for it....) A critical! fail (rolled 1 in a D20), and lost the grip of his axe which resulted that his weapon was at the opposite end of the room, leaving him with only his fisticuffs. The vampire laughed as he was started to pull a lever and grabbed his blade which were frozen. Eala tried to stap Oskar with the ghost blade which resulted in another failure as she missed. However the unlucky luck for Oskar smiled to him as he was able to throw a punch at Eala's left eye, leaving a mark. Suddenly, Sol pushed Eala aside as he saw her being punched by Oskar fearing that was something wrong with him. Oskar saw Sol and was again demand to attack his fellow companion, but it went up for Oskar that he Sol was the master of suns and broke the evil domination spell by saying "paaaaise the suuun!" Then there was some fighting going on where Oskar was a failure of hitting anything while Sol did all the work by lighting the vampire into dust, with no chance to escape, he got fucked up, yada yada. As they killed (or sol) had lighted the vampire up, they heard cry of help from Eala who was in a fight against a horde of undead. Sol and Oskar ran to her, but Oskar suddenly turned around and ran the other direction while he said "fuck this shit, I'm out!" Heading back to the room with a pile of vampire dust/ashes as he saw some treasure chests and started to loot that instead. (Oskar has a phobia against undead) Then Sol did some magic stuff which blew every single undead away while Eala was in no use of combat as she is a rough and her knife isn't really doing anything at all to skeletons as they have no flesh... Oskar open the door in the room and saw three other weak dwarfs who were prisoned by the vampire, and moaned for help. Oskar gave them of course ale and common meals he had for spare as he kept their gold he looted from the chest as it turned out the content in those chests was belonging to the dwarfs in prison. Sol saw that and told Oskar to give them their gold back which Oskar objected against as he is a greedy twat. Aaand that's that. Jesusfreak 312 #539 Posted July 12, 2015 Previous on Heroes of Otorno (keep in mind I don't know 100% of all details) As our heroes returned back to the village from the cave with the rescued dwarfs on horseback and cart a suspicious was grown among them. It turned out that the cart and horses were belonging to a known trading guild who had held the dwarfs as hostage. It turned out that the trading guild had something more evil in it than gold and caravans which made them less innocent. As the rescued dwarfs rewarded our heroes and went their way, a stranger came in and started to talk to Eala about the current situation our heroes had walked into. Warning them that if they don't leave the city soon, trouble will meet them in the way. Sol was concerned and headed to the church of Pelor to talk to his fellow Clerics to inform the current matter of the danger from the trading guild. In the meantime Eala and Oskar decided to talk to the wizard who were able to tell what kind of magic the items they found in the chests during their visit in the cave. Sol joined them as the wizard was about to tell Eala what kind of perks her magical items would give, The wizard them turned to Sol, giving him the right information on his items as it turned out Sol had hit the jackpot and had a magical belt which would give me a strength buff as well a necklace of wishes which could being the dead back to life. Oskar in the other hand who only had looted a cursed frozen sword was told it would make his mind go nuts if he hold it for too long and was very deadly against good alignments. The wizard recommended to get ride of the sword, or give it to him so he was able to sell it for 10.000 gold which got Oskars interest in giving it to the wizard and earn 8.5k due to the 15% cut he had to give. Sol attempted to reason with Oskar about this cursed blade was no good to be used and begged him to get ride of it. Oskars greed to keep it wasn't strong enough against Sol's diplomacy and gave up on the sword. Sol was happy about Oskars choice and handed him 1000 gold. Then they went to the blacksmith and got the blade melted to remove the curse and Oskar got a tower shield which was in great quality and named it AngryHank due to the screaming face of battlecry which was painted on to it.
