Got thrown out of the voting booth thingamajig a few years back. I was there to vote and some elderly dude had no idea how this new technology worked. We switched to computers, so for him this concept was foreign. I stayed right outside and basically was telling him "Just put the card in the slide there" and "just tap the name or party you want to vote for" until it was finished.

At a private party in a bar in Reykjavik in 2007 and was having a bet with a mate which way this guy would fall of his chair as he was leathered. When he did fall of his chair, one of the door staff rushed over and I thought he'd be thrown straight out. Bouncer picks the lad up, sits him on his chair and puts his pint back in front of him and walks away. Totally not what we expected to happen. If you ever get the chance to go to Iceland grab it, it's an amazing place.

Regarding school xD

 

Back story: I went to a catholic middle and high school, so naturally religion was on the menu. During my final year, our teacher made us watch a documentary about poor people. However, these people were all like "I used to have two Mercedes cars and a couple of BMW and I started drinking and partying and I blew all my money so WOE IS ME". This went on and on. So after a while, teacher asked what we thought. I called out bullshit. I have zero sympathy for someone who is telling me he was loaded and then blew it all on drinks and hookers, so yeah fuck him.

 

That wasn't very christian of me. So I had two choices: either leave the classroom or keep quiet and keep watching. Packed my bag and left. Two other guys left too with me which I didn't expect >>

Ah yes... religious education...

In the last 3 years in school, we were allowed to choose if we would go for religion, or for an ethics course.

I was planning on switching to the latter one, but i basically overslept the day where we were supposed to make our choice.

So, i stayed in religious education. On the first day in the new year of classes, our teacher (a real catholic priest - robes and a cleaning-woman-as-girlfriend included), asked us why we didn't switch to ethics courses.

Let's just say it seems like telling him directly that i overslept the day where we could switch classes, i hurt his feeling bad enough that i got kicked out of school for a day. One of two "blue letters" i got from school.

 

Oh, and i was allowed to switch classes after that.

I once got my ass kicked out of a classroom and into detention for not completing homework, it had been given to me on the Wednesday, due for Thursday, I got home to find my mother in hospital, my dad made dinner, then took us to visit, I got home and went to bed. Teacher took a 'no excuses' policy, and threw me into detention. My mother complained to my drama teacher after she recovered at the parents evening, and the woman had a go at my mum for telling me that I couldnt sing - apparently my mother was crushing my creative spirit - batshit crazy teacher.
