[LOT]rundown 3 #1 Posted May 5, 2006 I used to play this game a lot and thought it was really good. Even though I never played multiplayer on it I thought it was a really fun game. I played Civilization III, never tried Civ I or II but I liked Civ III the best out of Civ III and IV. I tried Civ IV but just didn't find it as addicting as Civ III. Anyone have any comments on any of the Civilization series? Mostly about Civilization III and IV would be appreciated since I never played I or II. [LOT]rundown 3 #5 Posted May 5, 2006 It's a great game, go to google and type "Civilization III" in, you can locate reviews and the official website from there.

{HeRo}GeneralDS 4 #7 Posted August 30, 2006 i own civ 3 complete edition...and i am starting to lose interest in it...i get really laggy in multiplayer games on it, and it is more challenging to play against others...altho for some reason it crashes when i go to complete the first conquest scenario, i think it was mesopotamia...when it tries to leave to go to how you are looked at as by the world, it crahses b4 it even gets there... [LOT]rundown 3 #9 Posted June 27, 2007 I have never tried Civ 2, only Civ 3 and Civ 4. Personally I think Civ 3 is the best
samuraispirit 0 #10 Posted June 28, 2007 The most players say that Civilization II is the best Civilization game. I never had played the other Civilizations so I don´t can make my own meaning about that but the game is so great. And you can play it and for example surfing in the internet at the same time because it is on screen with your windows tasks. And it is one of the old computer games who works with all systems of Windows or other systems. Its so good designed. And it has no crashes.
{HeRo}GeneralDS 4 #11 Posted August 8, 2007 I no longer play Civ 3, and I am slowly retreating from BR...I kind of got hooked by MapleStory strange enough.. Civ 3 was fun until I got bored with it. Never liked playing strategy games for months on end, figured I go and find something more to my liking like RPG games (especially MMORPGs..)
[LOT]rundown 3 #12 Posted August 12, 2007 The most players say that Civilization II is the best Civilization game. Oddly enough Civ 3 never crashed either. I don't know what is with Sid Meier's games but for some reason they never crashed nor did I ever have problems with them.
{HeRo}GeneralDS 4 #13 Posted August 12, 2007 Maybe the reason behind it is that it was designed and bugtested heavily. Unfortunately, this so called "Perfect record of no crashes" is broken on Civ 3 by me. The very first Conquest Scenario crashes the instant it tries to enter how the world views me. The whole game crashes due to it.

{HeRo}GeneralDS 4 #15 Posted September 21, 2007 Yeah...the only way I can play it is through the content area, I can't play it via conquest mode.

[LOT]rundown 3 #17 Posted May 4, 2008 Recently I have started playing this game again. Only Civ 3 Conquests though. I have tried civ 4 but I didn't like it as much as civ 3. Civ 3 is the best of them all in my opinion. Preferably I like being the Americans but usually I just do random.
