{HeRo}GeneralDS 4 #57 Posted October 17, 2006 fred, i agree with ya, and outlaw u just dont get the way i think...in fact very few people aside from me know how i think, my thinking is too complex for most ordinary people to understand...and im glad u actually scout the enemy, unlike several stubborn people in these forums...i believe that if someone wants to random (like me on occasion) then let them and when someone complains about the random then boot them if ur hosting or just plain leave the game if its someone else hosting...its just getting on my nerves about some of these anti-scouters not wanting random...becoming a good "strategist" involves being ready for anything and everything, and being able to counter the unknown (or better yet, SCOUT!!) so if someone cant scout or is too lazy to do it, then thats when u smash them to pieces...random gives a person a unique advantage (if they did this stupid thing called a "bug") over an enemy but if they didnt use this "bug" then both you and ur enemy are at disadvantages because u may have been hoping for one clan and end up with one u r pretty lame with (for me id hope for serpent and end up with dragon or lotus if i used true random...) also i noticed something about this stupid bug, if u random with a certain color (orange for instance) then u would end up with the clan's original color closest to the color u chose (dragon for orange in this case) so maybe u can control it even further...(purple=lotus more than likely, green=wolf very often, red=serpent most of the time) so maybe if u see someone with a certain color then u should expect a certain clan if they random based on these colors, altho dont rely on it too often as it constantly changes but most of the time it picks the clan closest to that color, so someone chooses pink, it would end up as either lotus or serpent, yellow would be wolf or dragon, dark blue would end up as lotus and ???, light blue is usually wolf dragon and ???...so try to guess which clan they would use based on color and their normal choice if they dont random... sorry about the very long post... Of course there is the random bug which is a important factor of my answer but the most important is that for example, in 2v2, 1 players of each team chose dragon and the 2 others chose random. Then, if one have lotus and the another one dragon, it's a fight between 2 dragons vs 1 dragon + 1 lotus.
