My desktop photo, since everyone has seen ruh-roh dog covering the Apple logo.

'Scuse me for potentially sound like an idiot and/or dick, but...

TF2 on a Mac laptop?

Also, how is the MX Revolution? I almost got it over the Razer DeathAdder, but when I found out it was wireless, it was automatically out of the picture.

DeathAdders aren't wireless. They aren't very good, either, but it certainly isn't because they're wireless. Can't go wrong with an MX518 or G5 IMO.

Looks like someone did a little cleanup before taking the pic

Yea it is a little cleaner than usual but i never let my desk get messy, it distracts me from my games.

BTW How do you get the weather on your desktop?

i love my mx518, i have a g5 in the box atm but i dont liek the feel of it.

Fuck yeah, I've had my current one for 3 years now. Bought my original 4 years ago, and the right click died on me suddenly. Sent it in, got a replacement, and it's still just as good today as it was then. And that thing has taken a beating... I've traveled with it, slammed it on the desk in anger, left my window open in the rain, dropped it in soup (long story)...

It's like, the god among men. Only with computer mice.

Hell yeah, I had my MX518 forever. I switched to the G5 because I like the texture better than the slickness of the MX518 and wanted a mouse with adjustable weighting because I felt like the MX518 was being a little flimsier than it should and was 'creeping' across my mousepad at its own will (like every time I'd take my hand off it, I'd be aiming at the sky.) The wire is nicer, too, doesn't get stuck on the back of my keyboard tray like the MX518's did. They lied about removing that 'wear' spot on the left side of it though, cause mine has wear already. :P

I just spent the last 10 minutes on steam criticizing Nket's setup.

Few key points to share with you all about Nket's setup:

Fan is slow, appears to be not moving in the picture

Hideous cable management

No sidepanel

Ducttape chair

I should stop....

well... depending on how the airflow is set up, no side panel could be advantageous (if there is any care taken to the airflow in the case)

You're not awesome till you have RatPadz

I'm using the Razer Destructor that they sent me up from some random fUncpad that I took from my old job because I got tired of the Counter-Strike kids fighting over who it belonged to.

While it COULD be advantageous, and almost always is for cooling, usually no side panel means your box runs too hot with it closed. That is why you run open panel. I'll have to wonder why we don't hear a buzzing from Nket with him running case open with it on the desk like that...

P.S. My picture changed in my earlier post if you didn't already notice

Refer to shitty exhaust fan part.

EDIT:

I have this really loud 5400+ RPM 120MM fan. Maybe I should give it to you... it pushes quite a bit of air!

or maybe even the wire management... if air could get through the case, it'd probably help a bit, although, an exhaust fan and CPU heatsink (looks stock?) upgrade would be good.

or for less money, keep the side panel off XD

But a decent exhaust fan doesn't really cost that much. But it could allow the overclocking of some other components like the video card or the ram.

Like this one:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16835185059

9 bucks, 88.11 CFM, 33.00 dBA

Or

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16835185054

10 bucks, 133.60 CFM, 45.90 dBA (still quite compared to that 5K RPM fan that I have).

Also @Nket: those fans come with some unreadable asian language on the box! You can use it to test your mastery of the language!

ya but then there's shipping, and then you have to wait 3 days, but the 3rd day is a weekend, so it's actually 5 days, but you sleep through the UPS guy, and have to go down to their shipping place to pick it up... or just keep the side off :P

(true story, except it was purolator, not UPS, and i was at college, not sleeping in)
