Guest Aramid #1 Posted November 10, 2006 Good day! Lotus Clan is famous from their units and history. Every unit in the clan has its special uses. Their soldiers whether they live or die they do tremendous damage. Innate Ability are abilities possessed since birth. Innate abilities can change the tides of battle. Issyl's innate ability is regeneration which beats the wolf clan's natural healing rate. Koril is powerful with his evasiveness which dodges missile attacks. Zymeth has this lightning innate that struck lightning to his foes when raining. Normal units like diseased when killed damages enemies nearby in a period of time. The unclean when killed blinds nearby enemy units and infested that damages nearby units. Should we decrease their innate abiliy's effectiveness? VOTE NOW!!!... share insights
IndominusRex 13 #2 Posted November 10, 2006 I vote for no, they are strong but so slow... and also this is not means a best lotus player should win the best serpent or wolf player.
cptheslayer 2 #3 Posted November 12, 2006 i would say the best player against best player is a tie game regardless the clan they choose. Best means you can manage to order ur units to do a specific work successfully in a short time while commanding other units too. This means that best player pretty much can control most BG within a very short time that i have never seen yet. I think only a perfect computerized ai can be almost Best player. We humans are flawed.

Sinophile 41 #5 Posted November 12, 2006 Of course the best player VS best player would be tie. A 2nd best player vs 2nd best player would be a tie aswell. However, in the case of a match between the best and second best...
Speedy 11 #6 Posted November 12, 2006 The best would win most of the time, but on occasion the second best would aswell..
{HeRo}GeneralDS 4 #7 Posted November 12, 2006 i dont believe that the effectiveness should be reduced... each innate can be countered with the right unit...take koril for example, hit him with either snipers or powerful melee units because musketeer innate means that they never miss, sniper scope adds to the damage. with lotus second tier units, just take them out from a distance because their innates only affect units surrounding them, so the melee units will take the hit, meaning that they will be weakened to other attacks for a period of time, plus taking down diseased from a distance means that their innate death ability wont damage ur units if they got killed quickly. IndominusRex 13 #8 Posted November 12, 2006 Okay, about the best player that I just said before, I didn't say that Best Serpent or Wolf player should win to a best lotus player, did I? Best player vs Best Player is a tie game, I never saw 2 best players at all. I just give an example. It's really hard to find 2 best players. And also, when I say best player, it doesn't mean that its a perfect player. In this case, Aramid said that Lotus units mostly have innate ability units, but it doesn't mean that Lotus will win to an equal skills of serpent player or wolf. You guys will talk about equal player again huh?
cptheslayer 2 #9 Posted November 12, 2006 equal skill? if the lotus is skilled at using lotus as the serpent is skilled at using serpent, then the game is a tie. Think about it!!! There is always a counter attack. So equal players will be equal. It is not like a 21 year old man fighting against a 5 year old kid for candies. If these 2 pple are equally skilled at eating candies, the big kid will still win anyway. Now, Ben, if you know something about mathematical fields, you will understand what I mean clearly. If we allow the field or universe to be the set of all known existing br players, then we can say that dragon has a hard time beating lotus since all known br players agree. ][-AN-][-Ragereaver 0 #10 Posted November 13, 2006 Since BR is not perfectly balanced, equal skilled player vs equal skilled player will only be a tie if both players use the same clan.
Aramid 2 #11 Posted November 18, 2006 I also believe that Lotus surpasses the wolf clan's superiority of damage inflicted with help of their innates. Wolf clan has the least innate possessed. All of them had the increased natural healing rate which is good for their health. Lotus has the most innate effectivity in battle and attacking them must be well planned. Aphte 1 #12 Posted November 18, 2006 eh i dont really think theres a problem with all units having a special ability cus i think thats what makes the unit him or her o.o
Dragonsoul 3 #13 Posted November 24, 2006 Innate abilities are good. The gay samurais always suidcide.......... >_>
jin_hong_kang 0 #14 Posted February 21, 2007 i decline. if lotus would lose some abilities they they are weak at damage, life and will be weak in abilities. and it works quite well with bugs, you can use it as advantage till the update.
HeartBreakKid 0 #15 Posted April 3, 2010 lotus innates are good but many lotus units have disadvantages. for example tier 2 lotus units cant run too far/low stamina
