Zao 3 #1 Posted December 10, 2006 I'd like to know if Chi Shield can block everything, even Dragon Spirit and Soul Chill?
kooseng 0 #2 Posted December 10, 2006 yes, I use Chi Shield of Dargon warriors in front of my army while Sumo attacking opponent behind with Periah Peak map and some map. it's so great,i think.
cptheslayer 2 #3 Posted December 10, 2006 nothing can touch dwarrior when chi shield is activated. Dragon skin works almost the same, but sam can be hurt by melee, and it allows sam to move.
IndominusRex 13 #4 Posted December 10, 2006 Chi Shield cam ne hurted by melee cp?
Speedy 11 #5 Posted December 10, 2006 Chi Shield can't be hurt by anything.. And Samurai with Dragon Skin can be stopped and damaged by a Druids entanglement..
cptheslayer 2 #6 Posted December 10, 2006 read my post again and you know what i mean, i said sam not chi shield.
Zao 3 #7 Posted December 10, 2006 Great, that might be an effective defense against Soul Chill. ( if u have good timing. )
cptheslayer 2 #8 Posted December 10, 2006 of course, but don just depend on luck. even wihtou sc, warlocks can still beat dwarriors if you play your range good.
Zao 3 #9 Posted December 11, 2006 Well let's say a few kabuki/stardust to prevent the warlocks from shooting, then send the dragon warriors/chi shield to kill em. If there aren't too many blade acolyt around, it should work...
Sinophile 41 #10 Posted December 11, 2006 Hey, never noticed this but when your enemy uses Chi Shield, can you see the Dragon Warrior surrounded by the shield, or does it appear normal?
Moo Moo Cow 1 #11 Posted December 11, 2006 i think if you use the same trick as with musketer sniper scope you can get dragon warior on a watch tower with chi shield activated
{HeRo}GeneralDS 4 #12 Posted December 11, 2006 I havent tested it against everything, but chi shield works very similar to guardian's last stand battlegear in that they cant be harmed by anything while its in effect and it lasts on stamina...but the differences are that last stand activates on death and chi shield can be activated whenever before death... i do know that if a guardian with last stand dies, it restores all stamina at which point you should drain it with vetkin's bravado or have warlocks attack in melee or have brothers attack in any way...but i do not know whether stamina draining moves like bravado affect chi shield...if it does and u are serpent and have a keep already, then bring vetkin to field because warlocks drain stamina only when hit in melee (innate that loves to piss me off when i try to use a battlegear against them) and brothers have to cause damage to their target to drain their stamina... Moo Moo Cow 1 #13 Posted December 11, 2006 also dragon warior cant hit in chi shield but gardian can in his last stand.
Speedy 11 #14 Posted December 11, 2006 Hey, never noticed this but when your enemy uses Chi Shield, can you see the Dragon Warrior surrounded by the shield, or does it appear normal? 21926[/snapback] You can see enemy Chi Shields. In a battle with me and Default on VOD, i attempted to use Chi Shield on his Lotus. I had the Dragon Spirit, but i couldn't use it because he never let his DC off for long enough. My army consisted of Otomo, Tao, alot of Dragon Warriors with Chi Shield, and about 5 Geisha with sacrifice. Default had alot of Uncles and Warlocks, and around 5 DC. I waited for a long time for him to let his attention slip on his DC, while he harassed my peasants with Death Sentry. I finally saw a chance and used the Spirit, then charged my D Warriors in and started slaughtering his Unclean, but to my dismay, he had hidden his Soul Chillers somewhere nearby, and they rushed in.. I was too slow to activate the Chi Shield and many D Warriors lost their souls, but the remaining ones were momentarily protected, so i sent some Geishas which i had left behind to run in and sacrifice. His remaining army of Uncles and Warlocks was dealt with by my Dragon Warriors, and eventually his clan fell.
{Dark}CoolGuy 1 #15 Posted December 11, 2006 Chi shild is really good but really hard to use it at the right time.

[ST]Seraphim 1 #17 Posted January 20, 2007 Chi shield is one of the most useful battle gear that the dragon can use in my opinion. Or at least one of the most fun
Yoggle 0 #18 Posted January 28, 2007 chi sheild is awesome... especially when you are gatting overtaken you just put chi on and send some more people to the fight.
bonedragon 0 #19 Posted January 29, 2007 I think that chi shield isn't really much use since when you on your chi shield they can just wait around until your chi shield finishes then kill you.. I think they should have made it stronger, like everyone near him is forced to attack him ..then it would be better..i think..Then this could solve dc and sc problem. Yoggle 0 #20 Posted January 30, 2007 when i put it on they keep attacking the unit

Zao 3 #22 Posted March 6, 2007 I tried Chi Shield yesterday. The only time I used it before was when I started playing, with version 1.10. The Battle Pack seems to modify it ; The Dragon Warrior is now regenerating his health while he's using it, as if he was idle. When a D Warrior is attacked by several enemies and his health is dropping quickly, activate the shield. His opponents will lose precious milliseconds hitting on an invincible thing, and he will have the opportunity to regenerate for a while.
samuraispirit 0 #23 Posted March 9, 2007 I never use the chi shield. I find the flame sowrds for the dragon warriors are bettter. It looks cool and the enemy is burning. So Chi shield is a good power too but only when you want to employ the enemy units and your other units killing them without many or some losings of units. Greetings samuraispirit
twentius 1 #24 Posted April 27, 2007 it is very useful for tanking technique... altogether with power kegs with sharpnel or archers.
