ok this is just an opinion but what does everyone think is the best unit to destroy enemy structures? i personally would go for Master Warlock with Soul Thresher they can deal serious damage to most units as well as buildings...

I voted for the M-Warlock with Soul Thresher, but if I had two votes Chemists with Starburst Rockets would be my second.

Oh, and by the way, Shale Armour, Brush Fire, Indirect Fire, and Scorched Earth don't have any effect on buildings. :o

well you could use some of those to help the unit in other ways, like brush fire to disable rice to prevent the buildings being built in the first place hehe...

also something i forgot to add was that all units mentioned have all upgrades (including Issyl's Boon for the warlock and master warlock from WOTW to raise speed)

The Master Warlock with Haste and Soul Thresher is the best possible anti building unit in the game I think.

hmm M Warlock using soul thresher + Issyl's Boon upgrade + haste from issyl = building being destroyed quicker than the blink of an eye?

@kabuki: so you think a pitch slinger with scorched earth can own buildings? sure you can throw the mine into a group of enemies near a building but can that pitch slinger also take out the building without suffering death?

btw the unit is a lone unit against any building...if it is a tower then there is no one in it...

ok, i voted for sledger.

i don understand the question or everyone else does not understand the question. Which unit is the best for destroying building? So this is a 1-1 contest, not a group contest. You can't use isle and mwarlocks. That is ilegal. Pick any fully upgraded unit and you will see that sledger will be the best (as I heard of).

issyl is not attacking the building, just providing haste to the lone M warlock with the speed upgrade to go in and obliterate the structure, but being that hasted M warlock with Soul Thresher isnt one of the choices issyl is now declared inelgible to be used to assist...

EDIT: sledger could probably hit quicker, and it can get blast furnace and petrified wood, but M Warlock can use Soul Thresher to take out a huge chunk from a building >.<

i think the dark arson rules couse it can set the building alight from one go, howsat?

hmm Dark Arson can alight buildings, but it can be inaccurate at times, plus some units can destroy buildings quicker and easier than a regular warlock with dark arson...

Chemists with the rockets are the best unit for building demolishon. Four to six chemists using rockets on a building can finish it instantly. Even without the rockets they deal an incredible amount of damage to buildings and set it on fire. Their area-or-effect upgrade makes them undisputably the best. In addition, no other unit can run near as fast and hit a building hard like the chemist.

Master warlocks with soul thresher may be more convenient and stronger to kill buildings with but chemists with their rockets demolish buildings much faster. The thing is they die so fast that they can never be alive long enough to destroy buildings unless its a rush game.

Yeah, I find that too... They are just so weak they hardly ever get a chance to finish the job. They actually have two real weaknesses Blunt and Cutting, although they have such a small amount of HP that they are weak to anything.

hmm i notice that chemists take a huge hit from piercing attacks as well...just a couple of leaf disciples can finish off a good amount of chemists easily, maybe its due to leaf disciples having good resistance to explosive damage?

Pitch Slinger ? Because of Fire ?

But Which building? NVM, I think all building have the same resitance?

To fire? No. Keeps are harder to set on fire than say Peasant huts. I noticed that certain other buildings don't burn very well either, like the Sharpshooters Guild. And buildings that deal with explosives burn easier, like Alchemist Huts or Metal Shops.

ok sorry about reviving this semi old topic, but to clarify just a bit the units listed have all upgrades...and it is just buildings in general, for all i care it could be a giant building in the future or a basic mud and straw home from long ago...but to ease things up, just the buildings in BR in general...

ok for those of you who do not have Winter of the Wolf, Issyl's Boon is an upgrade that can be acquired at the flesh crucible by lotus...to get the flesh crucible you have to spend 150 rice and water to upgrade the lotus town square which you can only do in WotW...Issyl's Boon speeds up warlocks and master warlocks...its fun to combine the upgrade with Haste and then see your SC warlocks or Soul Thresher Master Warlocks move so fast that the enemy is turned into either dead piles or dead, soulless piles...

Thats why I want to play WOTW :)

Next time, When I host a game, I want to make sure if they have WOTW or not :)
