Speedy 11 #29 Posted August 25, 2007 Duh.. Of course Dragon heroes lose, almost all of them are weak to one or more of the following explosive/magic/cutting. Garrin, Otomo, Tao, Kazan, are weak to magic and/or explosive, and Arah is weak to cutting and fire. Besides all their BGs are not relevant to the Lotus heroe's weaknesses, where as the Lotus have an advantage against Dragon with their Haste/Lightning/Golems/Freeze+Damage BGs. All Lotus heroes have more resistance and HP than any of the Dragon heroes. Soban is the only weakling with a weakness to blunt & magic, & he has low HP. Aramid 2 #32 Posted August 26, 2007 I actually voted for the lotus clan because in majority they are powerful and a good combination. The problem starts when Vetkin arrives. What will happen if the Bravado BG is activated and dissolves the stamina of nearby enemies? The major advantage goes to Utara and Taro. They are a powerful combination once Taro activated his HEX battle gear nearby enemies are vulnerable to magic damages. Zymeth, Issyl and longtooth are the enemy heroes benefiting the hex BG effect. Utara's ong of sorrow BG is the most powerful when Hex is activated. Nearby enemies especially Grayback and soban are extremely damaged in this effect. Song of sorrow has two charges and once these two are done most enemies will have a yellow life bar. Also, Utara stuns nearby enemies which can clear out magic weakened heroes like Otomo, Garrin, Grayback and Soban. Disadvantage of the serpent heroes Heroes Utara and Vetkin who are given useful innates and Battle gears have only 1/2 of the life points of Grayback. Shinja is vulnerable in explosives and have an HP points of combined 2 ronins. Budo is very useless. Nothing important in this unit. One of the first heroes who will die in less than 30 seconds. Lotus vs dragon: Zymeth takes care of otomo, garrin koril-> Arah, kazan. Other heroes just chip in to help them. One tuf challenge is Wolf. Grayback is trump card,u if played well Wolf can give tuf challenge to Lotus can win as well... but i personally feel lotus heroes are way dominating n powerful thn others...good innate abilities and BG also.. Zymeth-> Lighting bolt innate n BG Koril-> Teleport, immunce againset range ....other just addit up forgot others names time keeper-> double time speed, full health recovery. golem maker-> free explosive peasants Yvaine-> freeze nearby enemy..excellent damage.. Lotus overall resistance average...good bg n innate . Dragon n Serpent has good BG but not tht good innate..weak overall resistances.. Wolf..good damage n resistance...but not good BG... kerendips 0 #36 Posted August 14, 2009 I think the wolfs hero are the most usefull... But i do believe that the lotus would slaughter the in 1v1 (all heroes) battle... Graybacks howl rules especially in big mosh pits and so is gaihlas heal... You will need shale lord armor spell if your fighting against some sneaky serpents whove just stolen all your shale armor (swordman steal battle gear) and also shale lord is a master at breaking down buildings... Longtooths spell doesnt have much use but longtooth himself is strong and has a bunch of health, while gailha remains weak and tottaly "uhealthy" The dragon heroes whould never win in a battle like this for they weild three ranged heroes and one of them is fat and useless, Garrin and Otomo on the other hand are very useful and surely could easily beat koril or issyl... The serpent heroes are all sneaky... With taros hex know one knows what changes could happen in the battle field, but utara.. She will just get bombareded but the ranged heroes of each races for she's stuns evryone and her health is more or less equal to gailha's... Vetkins brovordo can chage many things and as all the lotus heroes depend on their spells and abilities that would make them all nearly useless and will assure a victory for either wolf or serpent... Shinjas just a tank his spell is useless and his damage is unsatifactory but his resistences rule... In my conclusive opinion if all the heroes have a big mosh the wolf or serpents would win... wildeye123 11 #40 Posted May 26, 2012 wolf heroes rule. grayback's wolf howl is very useful on the field, and his life bar is tough. longtooth can hit enemies at a long distance. his shots are made even greater when his bg is selected. gaihla can heal all. put her on the rice fields and the rice grows faster. and finally the shale lord. his attacks on the battlefield are moderate, but no other zen master takes down buildings like this monster. plus their innate of natural healing is a very good advantage.
