Izaak 3 #58 Posted May 6, 2006 Maybe BR2 is about the descendants of the four clans. The Lotus heroes and Gaihla will probably still be alive around then. -Izaak, Lord of the Lotus Clan.
Guest Aramid #59 Posted May 6, 2006 There is a lot of gossips here in the Philippines that BR2 has been released. BR2 featuring 2 new clans with 5 new zen masters, the Turtle and the scorpion. My classmate has the demo of it but I dont believe it did exist. The masters of the 2 clans are more powerful than zymeth and grayback.... I am 50% sure that BR2 will have new clans.... cptheslayer 2 #60 Posted May 6, 2006 Talking about more clans, it will be hard to balance all the units. Before the balancing process of BR, serpent geisha was thought to have jumping ability(this is funny and i will post all the deleted abilities in the balancing process later). Also snipers were given the ability to be invisible when snipe scope is activated. Also musketeers can learn to be invulnerable from melee attack after training in the metal shop(this grants musketeers a protective shield against melee). This was too powerful and i think that was the reason why musketeers don't have these skills, otherwise serpent can overpower any clan. So, if BR2 is to be come out, it will take a long time to balance each clan and develop reasonable abilities. Definitely, i love to see the orb being granted to serpent clan(even though it belongs to Dragon clan and since Dragon has monument). Give the White Wolf Skull power to Wolf clan. For lotus, create something powerful to balance the other clans.
Guest Aramid #61 Posted May 6, 2006 Nice... the deleted abilities are a bit overpowered if granted... I guess BR2 will be out after this year or more... I bet BR2 makers will make this game even more fun than the 1st,..... BR2...I am waiting1!!!!!!

Guest Aramid #64 Posted May 6, 2006 WEIRD INFO ABOUT BR2: He said to me that he have the demo of BR2. The demo had been downloaded from the internet. The weird thing is Battle Maidens in BR2 can be geishas again just made the battle maidens enter the bathouse again. The 2 clan he mentioned have these heroes named as Otaru, master of the scorpion and ved-kuk, master of the turtle clan. Turtle Clan has no healers but stunners. Yin-Scorpion, Yang-Turtle... Otaru costs 800 rice, 200 water and 2 yin, I guess overpriced and very fictional..... The thing he said is very very very unbelievable thats why I never borrowed the CD..... After weeks another friend told me that BR2 is available, I guess they are tricking me and never mind it. When I go to a nearby mall a stranger asked me if there is BR2 in this mall.... The really-not true gossip spread in our place very fast.... thanks to the info of Ed Del Castillo I am now settled...
cptheslayer 2 #65 Posted May 6, 2006 don't ever believ what not seen. just take it for granted, heee. Here is the things that were in BR before it was balanced. Here are some of the abilities that the BR maker deleted in the process of balancing the game. These abilities are very interesting to think about how they would change the game. In my opinion, I found that Serpent's deleted abilities were the most interesting and powerful. Too bad for those Serpent players, they would have owned every clan with these abilities. These information is obtained from gamespot. The following deleted abilities are below: The world of Battle Realms is kept in balance by yin and yang. Good deeds will grant you yang points, while evil actions will give you yin points. These yin and yang points cancel each other out, so if you have two yang points, and then commit an evil deed like killing one of your peasants, you'll end up with only a single yang point. Watchtower The watchtower doesn't train units, it doesn't have any techniques available, nor does it enhance a unit with a special upgrade. Dragon Clan Spearman:stun strike: This maneuver raises the amount of damage his spear can inflict and causes his enemies to temporarily freeze, making them vulnerable to more attacks. Archer: Zen archery:........... and the longer you hold down the cursor over your intended target, the more damage the arrow will do, making the archer a lethal sniper. Chemist: The fireworks factory gives the chemist a fire trail, which he can track along the ground in front of him and then ignite for a devastating close-range effect. From the shrine, he gets the black powder ability, which he tosses above his head and ignites in midair. The chemist takes damage from this move. Additionally, the chemist is one of two Dragon Clan units who can't ride a horse. Geisha: If she travels to the shrine, she'll gain the ability to sacrifice herself. By doing so, the geisha will give up half her health to instantly heal all surrounding allies to maximum levels. Using sacrifice twice in rapid succession will kill the geisha. Serpent Clan Tavern Fortified ale: Raises the hit points for swordsmen, as well as some unfinalized second- and third-tier units. Drunken revelry: Increases the walking and running speed of the swordsman. Alchemist's laboratory lFlash powder: Gives the cannoneers' standard attack area-of-effect damage. Poisoned weapons: Raises the damage inflicted by cannoneers and crossbowmen by 50 percent, and adds poison damage to their attacks as well. Sharpshooter's guild Vital points: Increases the amount of damage inflicted by the musketeers' attacks. Cannon sights: Increases the range of the cannoneers' attacks. Bathhouse The art of love: Increases the movement speed of the fan geisha, and improves the rate of her healing ability as well. Flexibility: Grants the fan geisha the ability to jump. Thieves' Guild while the techniques improve a specific unit's skill permanently, these upgrades generally have a limit to the number of times that they can be used, and they'll always drain your unit's stamina. Shinja Heroes can't die, either--so when Shinja absorbs enough damage, he'll drop to one knee or run away for the duration of the mission. Shinja's blades can summon a swarm of poisonous snakes to overpower anyone standing within range of the attack. Musketeer His innate ability makes him see farther than he normally does but requires him to stand still. When deploy [snipe], the unit lies prone on the ground, and its range and the damage inflicted by its rifle both increase. While prone, the musketeer becomes truly representative of the Serpent Clan's devious nature, as doing so renders him somewhat transparent and completely, which makes it harder for his enemies to spot him. From the metal works, the musketeer gains the crude blunderbuss, which is the exact opposite of the elegant sniper's musket. With this ability, the musketeer can deploy with a shield that makes him all but invulnerable to missile attacks. And while the blunderbuss has a much shorter range than his standard musket or his sniper ability, it does a large amount of area-of-effect damage. Swordsman The swordsman's innate ability is called press gang, and it's effective only when a group of these units work together. When grouped together, each swordsman in a pack will inflict about 5 percent additional damage than he would if fighting alone, for a maximum of about 20 percent. If you send a swordsman into the metal works, he'll emerge with the glass sword ability. This limited-use attack transforms the swordsman's weapon into a deadly but brittle sword, which can kill nonhero units with a single blow. Since his sword explodes into a myriad of shards after an attack, however, this ability can be used only once. At the thieves' guild, he'll gain the mugging ability, which reduces the amount of damage he inflicts by about 10 percent, but it gives him a 25 percent chance of actually stealing his victim's special upgrade. When this happens, that victim will instantly lose whatever special ability he or she had learned, and you will automatically get half the cost of that upgrade in rice and water added to your stores back at the village. Crossbowman His innate ability is that of quick recovery, and it allows him to regenerate stamina twice as fast as most units do. At the metal works, the crossbowman will gain phosphorous bolts, which remove the fog of war around their point of impact. These bolts last forever, but you'll be able to have only three active at once Cannoneer This brute's massive stature gives him the innate ability of intimidation, which prevents enemy units from charging him at all. Fan Geisha The fan geishas have the innate ability of seduction. Seduced peasants will reveal their line of sight, even if they become trained to be a more powerful unit. From the metal works, she'll gain the blowgun upgrade, which fires a poison dart that prevents her target from regaining stamina or healing. If you send her to the thieves' guild, she'll be able to cast a life-suck spell, which drains her target of health and heals her in the process. Lotus Clan Lythis' Forge Silvered steel: This technique increases the amount of damage that blade acolytes inflict on Wolf Clan units. Way of the root: This increases the hit points of diseased ones, infested ones, and blade acolytes. Blade Garden Leafbite: Buying this technique will increase the amount of damage that leaf disciples inflict on Dragon Clan and Serpent Clan units. Leafstep: This increases the movement speed of infested ones, unclean ones, and leaf disciples. Training Yard Strength of the trunk: The hit points of diseased ones, unclean ones, and staff adepts increases when you purchase this technique. The whirling staff: This technique increases the amount of damage inflicted by staff adepts. Aviary Birdseed: This increases the amount of damage inflicted by the mistresses' ravens. Birdsong: This technique enhances the stealth ability of all Lotus units, as they no longer disturb birds when moving through the forest. Stables Lotus Clan horses are called shadow steeds, and when mounted, they will attack with their hooves when prompted by their riders. Shadow steeds are also stronger than normal horses, and when stolen by enemy units, they will gradually start dying. This prevents other clans from using shadow steeds. Unfortunately, the only Lotus Clan members who can mount shadow steeds are first-tier units. Wolfsbane bridles: This specialized technique neutralizes the penalty that mounted Lotus Clan units normally have against Wolf Clan pack masters. Horse anatomy: This technique eliminates the bonus that mounted enemy units have against members of the Lotus Clan. Crypt of the Brotherhood Once the crypt has been built, all three brothers will emerge from it immediately, and you can order them around the same way you would any other unit. While their fighting abilities are rather weak, they do have a special purpose: The brothers' stamina bars are empty when they first emerge from the crypt. As they fight, the stamina bars will slowly fill up, and when these bars are full, the brothers will dissipate and send a wave of magic across the entire map. It's these waves that actually upgrade your Lotus units. Specifically, when Tausil dispels his energy, he'll upgrade all blade acolytes; when Lythis sends forth his blessing, he'll upgrade all your staff adepts; and when Sehk fills up his stamina bar, he'll upgrade the leaf disciples. Of course, there are some disadvantages as well. If the crypt is destroyed, all your units will automatically lose their upgrades until you build a new crypt, and the Brothers Three process is repeated all over--it's all part of the game's balanced design. Zymeth His standard attacks include the ability to shoot bolts of lightning at nearby enemies, and he also has a withering touch that drains the life of anyone he engages in melee combat. Blade Acolyte His innate ability is called pass-through damage, a technique that damages any enemy unit standing next to the acolyte's first target. However, while this move will affect more than one enemy, it inflicts less damage per unit than the acolyte normally does when he attacks normally Leaf Disciple scrye leaves: sends his spinning blades flying outward. And while they do no damage, the blades will temporarily remove the fog of war around the area where they each landed. This ability makes the leaf disciple a great scout unit. Staff Adept His innate ability is the whirling staff, which makes him less vulnerable to missile weapons while he's attacking. The third of the mystical brothers, Lythis, fills up his stamina bar and explodes, and the staff adept will gain the upgrade called blinding defense, a magical ability that gives an armor bonus to all Lotus Clan members around. This upgrade uses up his stamina, however, and it renders him completely immobile while it's active. Unclean One Only one screaming skull can be active at once, so when another one is spit out, the first one vanishes. Wolf Clan Combat Pit Wolfball league: This significantly reduces the amount of stamina that running drains from brawlers and hurlers. Grooming: Grooming reduces the amount of time it takes to train brawlers and sledgers in the combat pit. Ballistics Ground Eagle's eye: This increases the maximum range of the hurler's primary attack. Warlock-tossing: This technique increases the amount of damage that hurlers can inflict on any Lotus Clan unit. Quarry Rock hammers: Rock hammers increases the damage inflicted by the sledger's primary attack. Miner's union: This technique simply raises the hit point of all Wolf Clan peasants. Wolves' Den Wolves among sheep: This increases the running and walking speeds of the pack master. Freedom's howl: This technique increases the amount of damage that pack masters can inflict on any Dragon Clan unit. Vitality Garden Forest blessing: This grants the Wolf druidess complete immunity to all magic- and fire-based damage. Herbalists: This technique significantly increases the natural healing rate of all Wolf Clan units. Shalery shale armor, which gives defense bonuses against piercing, fire, and magic attacks to any unit that has the upgrade equipped Grayback He possess the innate ability of inspiration, which causes all Wolf Clan units around him to walk, run, and attack faster than normal. Brawler The druidess's blessing gives them their second upgrade, which is called rock hands. This upgrade turns the brawler's hands to stone, and while this dramatically slows him down and reduces the amount of damage he inflicts against other enemies, he can do a devastating amount of damage to buildings and structures Hurler A hurler uses his giant spear to pierce any nearby enemies, and he can also pick up pieces of rock from the ground and hurl it at enemy units as his ranged attack. From the shalery, he can receive shale armor, and the druidess imbues him with the lava rock upgrade. This ability gives his ranged projectiles splash damage, although each individual projectile does less damage. Druidess she has the innate ability of crop blessing. When she stands in a field of rice, the crop will grow as if it's being constantly watered. She can regenerate her health to 100 percent, and she can cast a spell called bloodlust onto nearby allies that are below 35 percent of their original health. If a Wolf Clan unit with bloodlust dies, it will release an explosion of energy that causes area-of-effect damage. If a bloodlusted unit gets more than 50 percent of its health back, the spell is removed.

IndominusRex 13 #75 Posted May 20, 2006 (edited) Jack was asking if this thread is for Battle realms ver 1.50q I simply reply that this topic is for battle realms 2 which is a new battle realms... Hello, here are some Informations: The earliest battle realms is version 1.0, when you patch battle pack 2, your battle realms will become 1.10j When you patch battle pack 3, you battle realms will become version 1.50q ~HOWEVER~ If you have Winter of the wolf, your whole battle realms client will be version 1.50q Automatically because Winter of the wolf includes battle pack 3.. If you are playing in gamespy with different version, you can't see other players who use the different version of your version. Example, If you use verion 1.10j which is battle pack 2 and you play online, you can't see me because I'm using version 1.50q which is battle pack 3.
