Did anyone around here watch Fairy Tail?!

I wanted to get some more opinions on it. Besides bunny since i already know his.

I did, and even if it had it's ups and downs, it's still one of my favourites and i am really sad that it is discontinued atm.

I keep picking it up and dropping it, looks like a worse version of one piece/naruto but apparently in MAL it's really loved and praised, almost as much as One Piece. But then again, everything on MAL is overrated.

Tho, many ppl say Oda (Author of OP) and Hiro worked together, that's why they're so.. "similar". Mashima has never been Oda's assistant. Actually he was never an assistent to any mangaka at all. And imo, FT sucks. It had an interesting story but when I watched FT I always thought "Oh.. I think I already saw that..somewhere..". Idk, FT is just a mix of some animes (OP, Naruto, Bleach) and I really don't like that.

I was dissapointed by FT. Not because it has a bad plot, it's actually okay, but because it has Highschool Of The Dead Syndrome, which while some people might enjoy for me it's just stupid. Like there's a scene of the manga where one of the characters is reunited with her family who she lost for ages and they use this shot.

While many shounen brought something new to the table, Bleach, One Piece, Hunter x Hunter, Naruto, D-Gray Man, etc. Fairy Tail does absolutely nothing new, uses the same formula, over, and over, and over, and over again, the plot moves and baby steps goes nowhere, and the characters...just cliche to exhaustion, from the heroes to the villains.

You just summed up my entire experience...for both shows...

The need to give 90% of the girls DD breasts, the same body and a different hair style/ color, its just character design at its worse.

Plus the horrible trend of assaulting the viewer with breasts, I can kinda understand in HotD since its an ecchi anime (but still ruins many moments), but on an Fairy Tail...just why...1 time, no problem; 2 times, ok; 15 times,during fights and at emotional moments, just stop it.

I like boobs, I just don't go ape shit over it like a 14 year old that can't control his libido, and I don't understand the need to over use it in manga and anime.

if I want to enjoy a nice rack... well that's why I'm married it's like 24/7 all access pass...

throwing huge breasts all over the place just makes me embarrassed to recommend those shows to potential anime watchers if they are good otherwise.

Yes, the use of boobs is excessive in FT. Can't question that.
Then again... i've seen a fair share of boobs in all the examples mentioned, too. It doesn't make them better.

And as for repetitive, babystep storyline: Naruto? Bleach? Hell, Dragon Ball, to throw in a classic?

Btw, I don't know which ep are you in but from #589 till #598 OP gets really boring. Actually IMO, "Punk Hazard" (saga) was pretty boring. Idk what's happening, I know that an anime has to have some suspense but OP is exaggerating. Some OP fans think Thriller Bark is the most annoying saga, well, tha's my opinion too. OP is an awesome anime tho, you just gotta be patient a lil bit.

And if you're watching Naruto, be patient as well. Naruto has SO MANY fillers. I used to watch 'em but when Shippuden started I didn't watch any. If you're interested in Naruto, manga is the best option.

I'm always up to date with airing anime. Punk Hazard wasn't as bad as Skypiea, and in Dressrosa, shit's gonna get real.

Naruto Shippuden, i stopped watching at episode 301, i'm waiting for some more canon episodes because the fillers are really high quality.

Yep. But there are too many fillers.. Naruto lost a lot of fans because of that. Still my fav anime, even that some ppl think it's for kids

Naruto is obviously not a kids show, this is most apparent on Naruto Shippuden, but still, its rated PG-13 for a reason, its for 13 year olds and above.

And yes the fillers became painfully annoying lately, in Naruto the fillers after episode 150 were all pointless garbage, in Naruto Shippuden they were good for the most part until around 176, that's when all the fillers started to stagnate, from pointless missions to giant swordfishes.

To avoid the fillers I just decides some years ago to move to the manga, I still watch the anime but I skip the fillers completely now, its on hold for me for the time being (episode 330).

Yeah. As a said, if you're interested in Naruto, you should read the manga. The anime is very cool but the fillers suck. Also, Naruto got too much popular between kids and I think that's why they say that. When I say to any guy that Naruto is my fav anime they just laugh I don't like the reputation of Naruto but.. I still a big fan. There's a special shelf for Naruto in my home =] I have some others manga but they're in boxes cause I don't have any places to put 'em *sad story* lol

If you like cosplay videos, nobody on YouTube does them better that "SneakyZebra." They do other content, but their cosplay music videos are by far their best content.

FYI not even one of those videos has anime cosplay, they are all either comics characters or video game characters, I only saw 2 japanese video game characters, 2 street fighter ones, and Juliet from Lollipop Chainsaw.
