Words cannot express how thankful I am for this Update. I even made a new topic just to praise what Valve finally has fixed after all the pain others and me went through: The fucking Thriller taunt.

Ever had that time on Halloween Servers/Halloween Mode, when you had a perfectly timed tauntkill attempt? And then suddenly instead of using the killing taunt, you use the annoying Thriller taunt? Well no more, because Valve has finally done something productive in topic "IMPROVEMENT"

"Fixed taunts with a special purpose being overridden by the Halloween taunt"

Sincerely, thank you Valve. Thank you so much for finally getting rid of this horsecrap.

Personally, removing the whole thriller taunt would have been just as fine for me, but this is just as helpful, too.

Now to wait for Valve to remove the Magical Mercenary because they shove up Brony stuff on people that don't care about MLP and don't want anything to do with it.

I am sick of people thinking that something that has to do with horses is "DIRECTLY" MLP related.

UNICORNS, have been SO long around, even before the "shove up brony stuff". If one is fan, people will show they like it. Something that can be related will be used, but not everyone using it is brony.

If you don't want anything to do with it, stop commenting on stuff that has to do with it or relate stuff that doesn't directly has to do with it. It's like talking about everything is twilight because there is vampire stuff.

Yeah, there are totally not a million MLP references in the sounds that this hat actually adds.

And it's totally impossible that after Bronys shove up their MLP stuff on TF2 and Gabe Newell admits he is a brony Valve would actually add a Brony Hat. And yes, I don't want anything to do with it. But Valve makes that very hard by even adding VOICELINES to those hats.

But honestly, it's very ignorant to say that this hat is NOT a Brony Hat. Because it's hinting to it just more than enough. Even last Halloween's "Friendship is stupid magic" can be considered a reference.

But nevermind. I am not gonna try to argue over a stupid hat. If you really want to act oblivious, it's pointless anyway. If you claim to defend them, you can do that, I don't mind. I just don't like that Valve now shoves it up on neutral people, too. I didn't get an anime hat either, and MLP haters didn't get an Anti Magical Mercenary either. Doesn't seem alright to me to give 1 side something but nothing to the other side.

Besides, Discussions like that might as well should be continued somewhere else.

I'm no fan of MLP but I'd hardly call one hat and a few other voicelines having something shoved on me...they represent a tiny fraction of the items within a game. Also, "But nevermind. I am not gonna try to argue over a stupid hat."...nice try to close the argument after calling someone "very ignorant".

It is ignorant to act oblivious over something like this, sorry to burst your bubble. I am not being personal on this either. It's just how it is. And there is no point in discussing things out when you act oblivious towards it.

They could have at least made this hat Pyroland Only, where it belongs to. For the heck of people that actually dislike Unicorns and all of that friendship stuff. It's mainly not about the Hat either. It's about Valve taking sides in this popular Haters vs. Bronys thing. They kept TF2 out of it and it was all civil. Bronys had their Brony Mods and everyone was happy.

Almost all Servers except Lotus I play on have Halloween Mode on. There is not much that I can do as they are the only servers hosting the game modes I play. I can't change that servers have it enabled. But I can change whether or not I want to enter Pyroland or not. Unicorn Hats in Pyroland also seem a lot more appropriate than Unicorn Hats on Halloween.

It's not a joke for me. It's like adding an All class Justin Bieber Hair that adds additional sound files of "baby".

There are people that like MLP, and there are people that hate it. (and not without reason)

So if Valve cared about EVERYONE, they would just let TF2 stay out of this thing. Bronys didn't do anything to deserve their own hat, nor did anyone else. For the sake of everyone enjoying Halloween, they shouldn't have done that. Pleasing 1 side on cost of the other, full knowing.
