fever 9,884 #1 Posted November 19, 2013 I had the misfortune of a friend getting excited about Aliens : Colonial Marines (PC) and me being sucked into his happy vortex...I bought the game as I was so swept up in it (after seeing a decent looking trailer)...the game was dire and made me ...I then talked to my friend about it and he said "Yeah I didn't buy it because the reviews sucked"...more fool me

Kitten 1,813 #3 Posted November 19, 2013 Darkfall: Unholy Wars. I'd spent a lot of time grinding my way up through Ultima Online, skilling my character, making money, etc. and I thought I was ready and prepared to do the same thing in Darkfall. Tristan and I both got a copy of the game and worked super hard, running around with only our work tools, scavenging for materials here and there, getting PKed half the time and losing everything. We'd work super hard to save up enough money to buy a fishing trolley - then lose it and die within 15 minutes of sailing it. Then finally we realized one day that we were spending all of our in game time watching terrible movies on a third screen because Darkfall was just too darn boring to play by itself, and we'd have to spend hundreds of hours in game, mindlessly mining resources, and living in fear of everyone else.
Crystalitar 1,649 #4 Posted November 20, 2013 Had that with the last plane game War Thunder. It was free to play and a friend also wanted to try it. After downloading we came into the messy menu screen.... and when you go find a game you are directly put into one, without even choosing. Then you alsolitterally lose the plane you flew if you die, so you can run out of planes, but get oher ones when the game ends (even when losing) so you switch planes the whole time. The controls were confusing and the menu music annoyed the crap out of me... Then making a party also took 15 minutes, and after trying to make the most of it in half an hour we gave up De-installed FOREVER
+Dr. Obvious 14,606 #5 Posted November 20, 2013 One of the first Space Marine games, back then on Win95.This game sucked so much, i can't even describe the frustration of playing it, nor the joy when destroying the disc with a shredder.
Conrad Buff 243 #6 Posted November 20, 2013 It's not the worst game I've ever played but it made me wonder why it is so overhyped... I expected more from it and Saints Row (all of them lol) are completely terrible. Like I said, not the worst game I've played because the worst games I've played I expected to be terrible but I do not understand at all how people can actually play this trash game.

JMaster299 654 #10 Posted November 21, 2013 Spore... I was so pumped when I saw the game, I loved the Sims, so how could this ever go wrong. So many regrets Ah Spore. The game EA basically abandoned even before it was released because it was so easily cracked that more people played illegal copies then legit ones. Plus the EA DRM was so horrible that lots of people could not even install legit copies of EA games. This was before Origin obviously and people still had to rely on discs. But the DRM on EA games was so strict that it was not compatible with people's DVD drives.
Sari♥ 49 #11 Posted November 21, 2013 (edited) Spiderman: Friend or Foe (I played the Wii version: not sure if the other versions are different) Quite possibly the most repetitive game I've ever played. Me and my brother got this after we saw and loved Spiderman 3 (keep in mind this was about 7 years ago). Pretty much, "move forward and beat up guys, do the same thing 20 more times, then fight a Spiderman villain". I don't mind beat-em up games (in fact, I usually love them) but this game required just about no effort at all. There was a multiplayer, but it was pretty much pointless since Black-suit Spider man (I'm not talking about Venom) could grab you at any time and kill you in a matter of seconds. A waste of time and a big disappointment for me at the time (if you want a better Spiderman game, get Spiderman 2 on the PS2). Not sure if this counts, but the PC version of Saints Row 2 is virtually unplayable (it runs at X3 speed and has terrible FPS). I regret buying it when it was on sale. Breeze 21 #12 Posted November 25, 2013 Most of the steam Indie games are pretty bad, they also put VERY old titels on there, like 7th guest and 11th Hour wich are over 25 years old, the release date on steam says September 2013, but those were released in the 1990's and they have the nerve to ask 10 euros for them, pretty misleading. Those games are all pretty bad
D-Bee 3,448 #13 Posted November 28, 2013 Hey kid, do you like Borderlands? Because we made Borderlands 2!!! Electric Boogaloo! You'll totally love it! Wait, you mean you don't love it? I'm so sad I bought Borderlands2. I really like the first one. What the Hell happened?

I'm so sad I bought Borderlands2. I really like the first one. What the Hell happened? Borderlands 2 was fucking awesome. How far along did you get in the storyline? Its not that fun in the first hour of the game simply because the enemies don't scale correctly and you'll end up fighting Captain Flint who is level 15 when your only level 5. Yes 1 was better but still, Borderlands 2 still fucking rocked... Now I see why Chez-Box was hating on you xD

Kitten 1,813 #25 Posted December 3, 2013 Stopped played tf2 for 2 weeks for Borderlands, and then Tristan decided it was time for a new game, which just happens to be dota. BTW, anyone who wants to play dota anytime, let me know.
