(kind of pointless now because the encounter is over but I'm just curious) DB I know you said mastiff for stats, but it only has a CR of 1/8 and you said I could have a steed up to 1 CR, that's why I said I wanted a wolf (they're generally more useful than mastiffs in my opinion). I'm hoping that my decision to allow this wasn't a mistake. Not sure why you bother to bring up the bulette when your character wasn't even there. You're not sharing any information with me that I don't already know. The creature attacked the source of the vibrations it felt in the soil looking for a meal and didn't eat any elves or dwarves. About advantages and disadvantages: This has always been decided exclusively by GM in the past, but for some reason they decided to make it a game mechanic. When I decide that you either have an advantage or disadvantage I will let you know and you will either take the higher of the two rolls (advantage) or the lower (disadvantage). Looks great Koko, just remember that this is your mount for riding and shouldn't present itself as an extra character. There will of course be times when it will be able to join in a fight or perform other tasks, but I dislike crutches and if I see anyone leaning on one I'm very likely to simply take it away.
