Minia 1,211 #1 Posted September 29, 2014 Hello fellas, just to make you all aware there has been a new hijacking method to get hold of your steam account and other personal accounts. This new method involves getting scr file downloads of people requesting you to view their screensavers or other stoof. Either way, another reminder to never click any links. Even from your friends, always double check.
Canti 386 #2 Posted September 29, 2014 Screensavers. Oldest trick in the book. So old a lot of kids probably won't realise the danger!

luop90 4,400 #9 Posted September 29, 2014 Yeah, .scr links are pretty suspicious. They almost 100% of the time hide a program within that tends to love trading away all your items within a second. I'm surprised Anti-Virus companies haven't marked the entire file extension as incredibly suspicious, if not malicious.
