+JB. 4,800 #1 Posted December 13, 2014 So it looks like my headset isn't comming back. It was broke for quite a bit now, so I need a new one. I'm kinda looking at corsair vengeance 1500 v2 or 2100 atm. Anyone using one of these? Or other suggestions? Budget is 100€ max.

Domino 3,168 #8 Posted December 13, 2014 I've always used senheiser and they always last 4-5 years + for me - even with niece chewing the mic and me running the cable over with my chair every day lol

Hello Kitty 948 #10 Posted December 14, 2014 In my opinion these are pretty nice, they are made for music, but when gaming the sound design is amazing. They are really bassy http://m.newegg.com/Product/index?itemnumber=26-193-

+JB. 4,800 #12 Posted December 15, 2014 joined the corsair family :] So.. I can afford both 1500 v2 and 2100. What do you guys think, wireless (2100) or wired (1500 v2)? The specs are the same afaik, don't know if I would notice any diffrence in quality or something. Suggestions?

Possum 10,776 #16 Posted December 15, 2014 Yeah, never been a huge fan of wireless. Ordered 1500 v2 :3 Just another +1 on the 1500. Used it for about two years now (RMA replacement for my original Corsair HS1). Great headset, really comfy, mic quality is brilliant. The Corsair software for it is top-notch as well, gives you a good amount of control while being incredibly unobtrusive - no annoying tray notifications, its just there if you need it. Make sure you enable the surround emulation as well, you may think on a headset its pointless (I once did) but it does make a difference.
fever 9,884 #17 Posted December 15, 2014 Yeah, never been a huge fan of wireless. Ordered 1500 v2 :3 Good choice. Wired is the way to go I think, with everything. I had some wireless Sennhiesser headphones once and whilst they had some nice features, the battery running out and the overall performance were a pain in the arse. Cables don't run out of batteries so screw wireless.
