So I loaded into a game on Lijiang Tower, we had a mercy already so I was like "ok cool I'll go lucio if we group we'll win easily" few minutes into the game it was clear we were not grouping lol, it was just me and a roadhog on point, at the end of the game mercy goes *jesus this lucio is so bad he lost us the game you're retarded in RL that's why you're retarded in game get cancer in RL and die jesus fuck you're a terrible person* 

 

 

To be fair I should've switched as soon as I saw we weren't grouping but I was in the mood to play lucio and me being me was too stubborn to give in to mercy's trashtalk lol

I play a lot of Lucio and it's frustrating when people yolo constantly, dying one at a time instead of grouping up to push...I mean if they're not going to group up they should probably say something when I picked Lucio as our teams first pick.

I checked it out last night on Twitch. I'm not exactly sure how they calculate your ranking but the guy I watched won 8 games and lost 2 and his ranking went from 57 to 56 and then back to 57.

I don't really understand the mechanics of it though and if that's a reliable update or something went slightly wrong. He seemed a little disappointed though.

Seems like you need to be a certain rank (25 maybe, I saw some text on screen but the screen changed quickly) and also within a certain number of levels (I think it said 50) as the people you're stacked with (unless your solo yolo) to play though. Then you play 10 games and finally get your ranking.

I might give the first season a miss while they sort the problems out. As it stands if you get dc'ed for whatever reason and reconnect to avoid penalties, even if you win you can be handed a loss at the results screen. Not sure how widespread it is. Also, if you're on the winning team and someone reconnects on the opposing team it can screw your results up too.

I have not run into any issues yet because I am still trying to get placed.  Only done 4 matches so far but the same issues happened with a couple of friends I was playing with last night.
