Eh, fairly outdated. I have a AMD Athlon 64 Dual Core 4800+ @ 2.5GHz with 4GB of RAM and a NVidia GeForce 9800GTX.

If I recall correctly you have to manually set it to multicore support.

I had enabled the multi-core support but had to disable it because I started crashing like I do in Left 4 Dead. I get these nasty freeze + sound skip crashes that most people have complained of, where you have to ctrl+alt+del, open your task manager, close the task manager then re-maximize the game window. It's retarded as hell so I turned off TF2's half-ass multicore rendering. :/
