Rivanor 1 #31 Posted April 6, 2009 What happened? Didn't we just go to Gaynary and trade win/losses then play some neverending fucking round? All I remember is dying to a Kritzkrieg'd scout. And our team was pretty fucking terrible. But it's okay, we were stacking, after all. Ok here's what happened: Both teams took turns playing well and winning. I consider its a fair trade-off, I play TF2 for entertainment. I also work from home on my own hours, which gives me the freedom to decide when I wish to play. Also, Tardbarn. Last thing I watch was the Inauguration.

Miyari 33 #41 Posted April 7, 2009 The average American is pretty mediocre... but what kind of what do you do? When I work at home with my laptop, I just end up playing tf2 lol. I work for Wowhead. Mostly just administrative figurehead shit like banning people and forum moderation, writing blog posts / guides, take screenshots, design / come up with ideas for new site features, correcting data inaccuracies/errors, complete incompletely generated entries, etc. etc. A lot of psuedo-technical shit that just basically means I get paid to work on a WoW fansite (even though I can barely stand being on WoW most of the time, anymore). I have books but I don't know any programming languages as my work doesn't require me to work with anything other than LUA. It's a fucking huge site with a metric ton of traffic per day from all across the world, so it's fun to be part of something so big, even if it is just centrally focused on WoW players. I have never snorted any sort of dicks. I always dissolve it and heat it up to get a super saturated solution of cock (nearly 250g of cock per 100 mL water). Miyari 33 #50 Posted April 7, 2009 pretty much ya, that's all i was thinking. not the fact that wowhead is a massive website, and that's kinda the field i want to go into It's fucking awesome. As much as people want to hate on WoW - it's not going away. And as long as there's a WoW, there will be Wowhead - and that's fucking awesome for me. I got my position just through being extremely active in the community and volunteering a lot of time and effort towards the site (screenshot submission, volunteer moderator work, working with the existing employees on projects, etc.) When I'm interested in something, I like to go all the way with it, and for this it paid off. The other guys I worked with finally convinced the higher ups (the company that owns Wowhead, Thottbot, Allakhazam) to get me on the payroll. I don't make a fucking ton of money (24k/yr) but for the extreme lack of experience I have and little focused effort I am expected to put into it, it's pretty fucking nice. That and working in my pajamas is awesome. And yeah, it IS a pretty massive website - ranked 555 currently in Alexa. To give a basis of comparison, Newegg is ranked 421, SomethingAwful is 4,479 and Lotus is 1,547,633. Being even in the top 1000 is a pretty big deal when you think about just how many sites there are out there. E-PEEN, AHOY. Also, Baldwalter.
